Mark attended Virgina Commonwealth University and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington while working towards a career in computer programming. In 1985, he became interested in building construction and opened a construction company and a plumbing company in Wilmington, NC. In an effort to maximize productivity during the housing boom, he discovered the need for a simple computer program for inventory management, estimating as well as some CAD capabilities. After seaching to no avail, he went to work on just such a program and started Epiphany Software Corporation in 2005. he is now devoting his full attention to building a top notch company serving plumbing professionals of all kinds from workers in the field to students. He feels that there is increasing opportunity in applying new technology to fields that have, up to now, been left behind.
