Browsing Websites on iPhones - It's interesting to wonder whether your target market will browse your website using this technology but I'd certainly have to research how secure these wireless devices are before I start using them. I am concerned that personal details and credit card numbers could be intercepted when transmitting them through a wireless device, especially with the initial incarnations of this particular technology. The best things to do are: 1- read the full description in detail 2- ask if it's refurbished or in new condition 3- read their reviews (I don't buy if they have less that 98% approval) 4- if you have the chance, buy it from an online retailer that sells the same product, much more secure. for my computer needs I always go with NewEgg
Re: What Businesses to Bail Out? - That's the tough thing. People are really hanging onto their money right now, in fear that they may lose their job. No one is secure and it's going to be one of our biggest challenges ever to get through this crisis. All the money Obama sank into the system to get things moving and 10 months later we are still losing jobs. There's got to be a better way.
Re: Wordpress Password & Username Recovery - I know it's not very secure... but I use the same password for all my online stuff (placing a 1 in front of it in those places where they insist you have a password with letters and numbers), and I've never forgotten a password yet. As for screennames, I keep them written in a small notebook by my computer - along with their password (even though it's always the same one.) But then, I work out of my home and don't need to worry about a co-worker or worker bee coming in and stealing my stuff... What's really annoying is Norton Utilities, which upgrades itself periodically without telling me about any new features. It used to be all my screennames and passwords for various sites were stored onsite, I'd just pull up the page, hit enter, and get in. Now, I guess all my cookies are automatically removed after each session, so I have to typie in screenname and password each time. And there's no way to get them re-saved! Irks me no end...

My desktop computer runs pretty hot... more so in warmer weather, of course. As a result, I don't have to use much heat in the winter to keep my room warm as my computer does a nice job by itself. However, I then require my A/C to be in and running for a good while in the summer to combat the heat of my computer and to keep it running at a stable temperature. I used to have a liquid cooling system which worked wonders and kept my CPU running nice and cool, and it kept the overall temperature inside the computer at a nice level. Well, I don't have it anymore, so I'm stuck with fans yet again which I don't like.
