Blackberry 9300 Curve 3G features and specifications

The RIM Blackberry 9300 may not have many operational improvements over its predecessor (the BlackBerry Curve 8520), however the biggest improvement is the addition of 3G.. The Curve 9300 has a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the BlackBerry Curve 9300 with its physical dimensions as 4.3 inches long, 2.4 inches wide, and 0.6 inch thick and weighs3.6 ounces. The 2.4 inch display features a full QWERTY keyboard. The take on the track pad was a good move for the BlackBerry Curve 9300. Using a trackpad is an easier way to browse websites and navigate through the cell phone’s application tabs which was absent on the Curve 8520. Another change is the keypad which lies completely flat compared to the raised keys of the cure 8520. It adds to the slimness of the phone and prevents the accidental pressing of the keys.

The Blackberry 9300 offers its users the advantage to perform much better in meeting their work demands. It has additional features as well as an improved OS (BlackBerry OS 5) which is upgradeable to the latest BlackBerry OS 6.The BlackBerry has always been considered as one of the best in offering users an advantage in messaging. With the addition of software such as the Microsoft Exchange, users can now use Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel with their phones especially in using the Microsoft Outlook for emailing.

The Curve 9300’s 3G support also provides faster internet access. Users can also enjoy email messaging benefits provided by Gmail, Yahoo Mail and other online e-mailing services. This includes Social Networking sites which have gained lots of attention at present. Sites such as Facebook and Twitter have given the public, the option to let their friends and family know where they are and what they are doing at any given time. The phone features BlackBerry Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and other instant messengers that may be accessed through icons presented on the phone’s display.

The BlackBerry 9300 Curve offers superb listening pleasure with its music player. With the phone’s large memory storage and microSD memory card slot, users can organize and play their favorite tunes anytime and anywhere. For those who love to watch videos, the Curve 9300 also supports MPEG4, WMV, H.263, and H.264 file formats. It features a 2-megapixel camera that has a built in camcorder (for video recording). It has a 5x zooming feature and adjustable camera settings for excellent quality pictures. Phone calls are also clear with the addition of the CrystalTalk technology, which eliminates noise interference, providing excellent voice audio.Music is enjoyed more as the 9300 speakers produce impressive sound quality. For a more discreet listening, the phone also comes with a 3.5 mm headset jack that also delivers superb sound quality.

The BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G is powered by a 1,150 mAH lithium-ion battery that can last up to 19 days in standby mode. The BlackBerry 9300 Curve is a great recommendation for those looking for a phone with excellent messaging service and multimedia functions

Software Issues Software Issues - What annoys me the most are applications that are "improved" with new versions every year - that take out features I like and add features that are a pain in the arse to use. It's like no one ever asks the end user what would help [i:1g2xa9kr]them[/i:1g2xa9kr].
Re: Are You Selling Globally? Re: Are You Selling Globally? - I'm from Indonesia and I sell crafts and furniture items to Australia and United States. The idea of importing products from US is interesting, considering the lower USD rates which will affects in better price here (the lowest in 7 years) high tech items like Ipod, Ipad, Blackberry would sells REALLY well here. Re: Facebook experiment Re: Facebook experiment - [quote:xd5hcs21]I pulled up your profile and "poked" you Evan, although I'm not sure what that means. [/quote:xd5hcs21] I agree totally. There's quite a few features there, like "Poke" and "Give a free gift" that I don't understand and don't want to experiment with. I wonder if there's a FAQ that explains all these features? (I admit I didn't search around for one... I've given up on Facebook..although it did get 2 reviewers for me...)
Pretty vs Effective Pretty vs Effective - I know of a new networking sites for authors that is going to be something great. I was in a planning meeting last night and I'm one of the initial members of the site. We were brainstorming what features we like on each site and what we thought was beneficial and what was fluff. I look forward to seeing the changes that are coming in the near future. At the moment I don't like the appearance, but we're getting the basics and the bells and whistles right - then the pretty stuff will be added. Functionality, effectiveness and search features are the most important elements to me. "Pretty" is definitely secondary. Shri
