Canvas printing
Canvas printing is a very popular medium now canvas printing can be used for transferring your family photos or photos and images of whatever you like on to canvas they are a great way to decorate your home or make a special and personal present for a friend or loved one its a great way to capture memories. You can print from digital images or even photos can be scanned in using special scanners you can even print from old damaged photos with the right software old photos can be repaired and restored to enhance the original photos ready to be printed on to canvas. If made well these canvases will like your memories will last a life time. Photos can fade and lose their look but with a uv, fade and scratch resistant coating canvas prints should not need any more cleaning or care than anything else in your home but to prevent damage dust lightly with a dry cloth or brush lightly with a soft brush if it has been coated in the special light fast and water resistant spray you could even use a slightly damp cloth. If you have to move or store your canvas prints ensure they are wrapped well in bubble wrap preferably, try to keep the print upright so nothing heavy can be put on top of it this will often warp and dent your canvas print, if the print dose start to sag you should have corner wedges by taping these in towards the corners this should return the print to its original tightness.
One thing to remember when having your photos and images transferred on to canvas using canvas printing is that you must no your picture must have a high enough resolution to be enlarged if it does not have enough pixels it will not be able to be enlarged very much at all before it will start to blur distort and lose clarity so ensure you have a high res photo before you go ahead with the print.
You can buy very beautiful canvas prints from many shops on your high street of prints of everything from animals landscapes and iconic art work to fruit and everything in between or u can get you photos printed on to canvas from many online companies and certain shops whichever you chose canvas prints are a great way to decorate your home or work place.
Printing photos on to canvas can be great for professional photographers canvas prints are great for shows of your work and often when a photographer sells photo prints of their work they could be charging a lot more if they were printed on to canvas and photographers who shoot for peoples personal photos canvases are a great thing to offer an include in packages you may offer as they are easy and quick to produce and can be sold at a great profit.
There are many companies out there that offer canvas printing services just be careful they are made well and to all the specifications in the first paragraph or they may not last they may look good when they arrive but if the canvas print is not made well or with the right material they will in no time start to fade sag and become something you would not want to display or decorate your home with.

Hi gongju,
Can you share with us any tips on how you managed to have your site rank on page one in Google for "Toronto printing"?
Moreover, how else are you advertising the sale of your business?
Re: Focus groups
- Regarding free questioners, how do they work, and where are they. I am very aware that 99.999% of t-shirts start ups do not make it. I am also very aware that I need to be careful and not give awayadvertise my thoughts before I actually have them in production (and are thus protected). So putting something out there, like a list of text sayings that would go with my registered trademark...isn't that giving them away and thus loosing the right to use them myself? I have printed shirts (have sold some, gave some away), I am looking into putting up a web site, but am concerned about which of the text sayings to use. I am not a shirt printer, printing many variations of my shirt to try to reach different age groups and genders and individual tastes is very expensive. Doing small runs of shirts is even more expensive. I would like to determine if I should print on both male and female shirts, or just go with males shirts and hope that women will buy them. I think females and adult males will prefer the pocketshoulder area small printing, but I also think that the young crowd wants the large across the chest printing (front of the shirt)...should I just start with one (pocket printing), for now? My shirts cost more because there is printing on both sides of the shirt. The front has the trademark saying, and the back has a graphic logo that (I think) is the best representation of the trademark text, and, a short text saying that fits the trademark (and there can be many of them that can be use, thus my need to focus in on the ones that might be more likely to get my business off the ground). There are two colors used on each side of the shirt (the more colors the more expense). On top of this the registration office is requiring me to also print the trademark on a label on the shirt (one color printing), so, there are three screens, and thus three shirt runs. I think that that two sided printing is more classy, and that trying to put the trademark, the logo, and the related text saying on the one side (front), would be too busy...but should I consider this. Should I consider
just putting the trademark by itself on the front of the shirt (and nothing else front and back). So, these are the reasons that I was trying to find out about focus groups.
I would like do do as much as this the right way from the beginning rather then start out with something that by trial and error is expensive, and that might be remembered as tacky later on. I recognize that these decisions are ultimately mine, and, that probably no one reading this forum or this posting are t-shirt business types. I am just trying to give you an idea of the kinds of decisions that I am trying to make, without throwing a lot of my money away in the process...yes, I realize that not many things go right the first time or all the time.
If I PM anyone here with images of my shirts (for their opioions of what I have done so far), do I first need them to sign a non-disclosure, and, do I need to be concerned that they may not be in the US (where I am)?

Thanks for sharing. I am printing this page out and will read it everyday until I do what I find here. Thanks a million
Attention grabbing Mailers
- I wrote earlier that I was doing a Direct Mailing to two Joint Venture Partners lists as an endorsement. Since the customers are receiving the mail on envelope letterhead/logo there is a higher chance that the mail will be opened and read.
Lately I've been fascinated with the psychology behind persuasion and grabbing people's attention thru media.
Some examples:
- printing your business card on a $2 Coin (it looks similar to a $2 coin in color and size but has your details on it)
- printing your sales message on a letter that looks like a paper diner tablemat
- writing "photo enclosed - do not bend" on the outside of an envelope
- sending a decision-maker e.g. CEO/CIO a walkie talkie asking them to contact you to get the other piece
- sending someone a cellphone that is blocked from making calls but can receive a call and advise the client that he/she will be contacted at a particular date and time - if the time is inconvenient they can call you immediately instead.
- write on the outside of an envelope a high perceived item as a free gift. e.g toyota sent a mailer to anyone that purchased a toyota with a statement on the outside saying "Free Second Car Inside". It was infact a way to get people to signup thier details online and in return they would get an exact miniature replica of the car they had purchased.
I'd like to brainstorm other ideas you may have heard of or have tried and received results.
Thanks.[/list]
