Well written manuals... - I don't mind reading manuals, as long as they're well written. All the information you need should be found at your finger tips, instead of scattered through it or not covered at all. My long tale - in case anyone's interested. I've had this digital recorder for about a year and a half, never had any problem with it. Never messed with the settings since I set them, a year and a half ago. So, a couple of weeks ago, I discovered that for some reason when I was downloading files to my computer, instead of getting them in MWA as I normally did, I was getting them in DSS - and the quality was horrible. And when I'd convert them to WAV (the only file type I could convert them to) the quality remained horrible. (I don't even know what DSS was/is...) ANyway, I skimmed through the manual once (it's a PDF file on the computer) and it didnt' tell me what I wanted to know, but after posting my request for help here I read through it again and found that somehow I'd changed the quality of recording from "high" to "low". Don't know how that happened... But it wasn't easy to find - the index certainly was of no help... I still have a puzzlement though, as the King of Siam would put it. For the last year and a half the most I've been able to record at one time is 2 hours and 12 minutes. NOW, even though I've got the recorder set back to High quality, I can record 4 hours! It just doesn't make any sense!

What to name your business? - I chose Omnivore Ink basically because in surfing the web I came across a photo of a piranha (which I now use as my avatar) and thought...that's pretty cool...can I make use of that? Then I thought, well, I do just about any writing type of work imaginable, and my interests are widespread, so why not call myself Omnivore Ink. So it was seeing the photo that suggested the idea for the name...not the other way around.
