Your photo on canvas

Having your photo printed onto canvas is a very big and growing fashion in wall decoration and today's interior design. It's where you can have your own photo printed onto real canvas then stretched over a real wooden frame for a unique look and feel throughout your home.

I think I really is a great idea, just think of the memories you could keep and show off from having a canvas print form your photo, it really does bring our your wall decoration to the limit and shows of your creative side to. If you have a special picture and you really wanted to find a gift for a loved one or even wanted to show off a beautiful family picture then instead of just having your photo in a normal picture frame it ink having a canvas photo would be perfect.

Normally any canvas print will look great in any room and you shouldn't need to worry too much about the colours if you have a normal photo printed as there normally is lots of vibrant colours and this will enhance your colour scheme to. If you do choose to have some art printed then I would suggest having the right colour for your most popular colour in that room.

Photo on canvas will remind you of the best times in your life, that great day in the park or the relaxing picnic you had with your kids, whatever the occasion I think the arty look it gives of really does make any digital image look fantastic and breathe taking. A photo canvas print is basically your image transferred onto inkjet canvas from a large format print then it is stretched around a wood stretcher bar frame and stapled for a long lasting stretch effect. Most canvas printing business use the stretcher bars as its one of the best methods for this type of art on canvas.

When you order a photo on canvas it would be better to have a large image file to print from and by having the large image file your picture will be printed with a sharp effect and will look very good, if however your image is a low resolution photo and you are blowing the image up to a big size to print then I would recommend getting the experts to check it first as it may be too small and could result in the image being blurry once printed.

You don't have to worry about the colour matching either as in this day and age the large format printers that is used today can reproduce your photo on canvas perfectly without losing any of the original colours or any of the quality, the canvas printing that id produced will look the same and therefore once the canvas is framed then you will have your work of art ready to hang in its place on your home walls.

What to name your business? What to name your business? - I chose Omnivore Ink basically because in surfing the web I came across a photo of a piranha (which I now use as my avatar) and thought...that's pretty cool...can I make use of that? Then I thought, well, I do just about any writing type of work imaginable, and my interests are widespread, so why not call myself Omnivore Ink. So it was seeing the photo that suggested the idea for the name...not the other way around.

Anyone else?[/quote:1k4c7dot] It might be a bit too faded. I tilted my laptop screen to see if that's why it looked so light, but no angle helped. I wouldn't make it as dark as the type, but it could be somewhat darker and that would make the details more obvious. Chris
The time I spend collecting The time I spend collecting - Hi Kevin, to address your questions, honestly, I do not spend a lot of time or even money on regular basis. I've been collecting these items for about 8 years now. The way I collect is basically in my spare "I have nothing to do" time and when (or if) I happen to come accross a piece I like, I purchase it. Some of the items were gift given, like most of the Angels I've collected, while others just fell into my lap such as my 6 ft cardboard figure of Marilyn Monroe that came from my neighbor and best friend down the block from me. She happened upon it in a store and saw they were going to toss it out and she asked if she could have it...they simply gave it to her and she pasased it on. Other items I do search for when I have the time. I've even come across some pictures that I adore and printed them on my photo printer on photo paper and framed them. You can't tell they were just printed from the computer.
Re: Aviation logo Re: Aviation logo -
does it appear to anyone viewing it that this woman is sitting "on" a plane, rather than "in it"? Thee's no cockpit, and there's just two levers to control it (but not to hand pedal)... I deliberately faded the photo because I thought a crisp and dark one would distract from the text around it. Anyone else think an unfaded photo would be better?
Hi again Barbara, It definitely looks to me that the woman is sitting "on" the plane as if it was a bicycle with wings. Perhaps you could just make the logo a touch darker [u:2ropm240]OR[/u:2ropm240] cut out the shape of the woman on the plane (i.e. Photoshop the rectangular background out/remove the negative space) so it's easier to make out what the logo is from a distance.
Aviation logo Aviation logo - >>>I'd say it looks like a woman sitting in an early "flying machine" that requires manual pedaling to help it gain runway speed before take off. You are sort of correct! The plane has an engine, and just two levers to control lifting and turning. I'll cut to the chase and just ask flat out... does it appear to anyone viewing it that this woman is sitting "on" a plane, rather than "in it"? Thee's no cockpit, and there's just two levers to control it (but not to hand pedal)... That's what I find so intriguing about it...the fact that the early fliers - in the 1910s, sat "on" the planes - and still didn't use seatbelts! >>>It was hard to tell because the logo is a little too faded/transparent. I deliberately faded the photo because I thought a crisp and dark one would distract from the text around it. Anyone else think an unfaded photo would be better? Thanks, Buzz! Anyone else?
