DVI KVM Switch: One Set of Peripherals Controlling Multiple DVI Computers

A DVI KVM Switch is used to control multiple DVI based computers using a single set of peripheral devices. Available in both PS2 and USB versions, the models have 2, 4, 8 or 16 ports. Easy to install, the devices work on plug and play functionality. A user needs to connect the peripherals to the input port and the computers to the output ports. Once powered on, the device is ready to be used. It does not require any additional software or device drivers for operation. Offering multi platform support, these devices work with DOS, Win3.X, Win95/98/98SE/2000/ME, WinNT, Netware, UNIX, and Linux.

The DVI Switch is hot pluggable so a user can add or remove connected PCs for maintenance without powering down the switch or the computers. Control can be exercised using hot keys or front panel push buttons. More advanced versions also use the RS232 and Infra red remote control. LEDs on the front indicate the status of the connected devices. Equipped with an auto scan mode to monitor the PCs at intervals ranging between 1 to 99 seconds, these units have operating and storage temperatures ranging between 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and -20 to 60 degrees Celsius respectively. While the PS2 versions of the DVI KVM device support Microsoft Intellimouse, Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer, Logitech Net Mouse, the USB models are compliant with USB 1.1 and some with USB 2.0 specifications.

The DDC2B compliance allows digital communication protocols between a computer display and a graphics adapter enabling the display to communicate its supported display modes to the adapter. Fully compliant with DVI specifications, this compact unit offers superior video quality at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 @ 60 Hz. This KVM Switch is certified by UL, CE and RoHS. Introduced to serve multiple purposes, it’s usage ranges from industrial applications to digital signage.

In environments where the computers are required to be placed in secure environments where there is minimum noise interference and security breach, such as in recording and film studios, information kiosks, hospitals and medical institutions, financial institutions and stock exchanges, the DVI KVM switch comes handy.

Re: Bad SEO techniques? Re: Bad SEO techniques? - [quote="jacksonp":1y3g8bot]that is quite true.We all should avoid these kind of techniques.I am here sharing few more points which we should take in mind..As an experienced person of SEO I want to share here some facts which should be avoided by us.I hope that these will help some of the newcomers a lot.. Choosing a title that has no relation to the content on the page Using extremely lengthy titles that are unhelpful to users Using a single title tag across all of your site’s pages or a large group of pages Stuffing unneeded keywords in your title tags Writing description meta tag that has no relation to the content on the page Multiple domains Multiple identical sites Cross Linking[/quote:1y3g8bot] re: Cross Linking, how do you define that? I thought linking to other pages on your website (that are related) was a good thing...maybe that's not what you meant.
Unsecured Lines of Credit Unsecured Lines of Credit - I have found that building a strong business credit profile allows for many commercial credit lines that I don't have to personally guarantee. Within 3-4 months I have recieved credit lines under my business name with Home Depot, Lowes, Staples, and Dell Computers. I wish I knew about business credit when I first started my business.
Re: Invest in Real Estate or Stocks? Re: Invest in Real Estate or Stocks? - I wouldn't touch either right now. Multiple indicators are showing significant tops many stock indices are very close (or have just happened). The technical indicators are matching the historic top of 2007, and you know what followed that. Similarly Real Estate has a lot to go. Historically a housing crash of this scale (based on the size of the boom before) has never been so short or small. I prefer to avoid investing where the crowd is (the crowd is back in stocks and gold right now), and go where the crowd is pessimistic (the dollar right now).
Re: Who inspired you to start? Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business. Regards,
Revenue Streams for Websites Revenue Streams for Websites - Too funny, I was just reading a book: Multiple Streams of Internet Income: How Ordinary People make extraordinary money on line, by Robert G. Allen. 2001 That's a misnomer, though - they're not ordinary people, they're people with established careers who can take their expertise and exploit it on the web. Ways to generate income? 1) Sell your own material on the site. Ebooks, etc. 2) Join various affiliate programs that match what your website is about. 3) Google adsense - All my money comes from this... it's started out slow but as readership of my sites grown, the income has grown. Nothing to write home about yet... 4) Google adwords - the advertisers whose ads show up on Google Adsense. Unless you're selling big ticket items on your site you don't want to use it, your keywords can cost from 20 cents upwards.
