KVM Matrix Switch: Allows multiple Users to control multiple Servers

Multiple servers or CPUs can be controlled and operated by multiple users with the help of a KVM Matrix Switch. Offering multi platform capabilities these units can work with PCs, SUNs, MACs, IBMs, HPs and Dells as well as Windows Vista, 2003, XP, 2000, Linux, Netware, and Unix operating systems. Available in a 1U rack mount form factor, these switches have models with 8, 16 and 32 ports. For achieving greater configurations, they can be cascaded and can accommodate up to 256 servers when this is done. An important feature of a Matrix KVM unit is that it can be controlled by multiple users. There are different versions available of these units with VGA or CAT5e/6 connectors. Also, different versions support different numbers of user’s with local access and remote access via CAT5e/6 or TCP/IP.

Amongst many other features of a KVM Matrix device, the most prominent one includes the ability to offer local as well as remote access control (Cat5e/6 or TCP/IP). The OSD user interface has many enhanced features for administration and user management, including the capability to define Super Users. These users can create custom user profiles with access rights for specific KVM ports. English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Simplified Chinese are also supported by its multilingual interface. These KVM units have CE, FCC, VCCI, TAA and RoHS approvals. They have optional 12, 24 and 48V power options. Operating and storage temperatures are 0 to 50 and -5 to 60 degrees Celsius respectively.

The IP KVM Switch is the high end version which allows a user to work securely via a remote keyboard, monitor and mouse using 128 bit secure IP access across the web. Operating on plug and play technology it provides seamless, secure access over IP via a web browser, allowing control down to the bios level. It does not require any additional software or device drivers to be installed on the servers or remote PCs. The CAT5e/6 switch also allows a maximum distance of 1000 feet from the KVM ports for remote access and server connections up to 40 feet using category cables. The LEDs on this device indicate the connectivity status and it also offers users the ability to set their own passwords.

A blessing for Network Administrators, the KVM Matrix Switch allows them to maintain and monitors servers or CPUs from multiple locations. These Matrix KVM units are mainly used in security agencies, remote monitoring facilities, training institutes, server room environments and large corporate offices.

Re: How do you monitor what people say about you in the web? - Agree, set up Google Alerts, but if you set up multiple alerts be sure to set them up as unique alerts, not one alert which includes multiple keywords. I also use Hootsuite where you can save custom searches for Twitter mentions.

Using OnlyWire.com you could list your pages in multiple bookmarking sites from a single place. But recently, I stopped listing my URL's to multiple bookmarking sites (left it to happen naturally), lets see !!! Thanks, Mr.Ven
Re: TypePad reviews please! Re: TypePad reviews please! - [quote="Anelly":evk8lweh]Ant particular reason why you chose TypePad over Wordpress?[/quote:evk8lweh] I already have experience with Wordpress and so now I want to find out about TypePad, so this started as an experiment, but I after just a few hours playing around I think I'm going to be sticking with TypePad as my main platform... TypePad offers a 14 day free trial during which time you can produce multiple blogs and play with the whole system. That's what I'm doing at the moment. I am finding that everything is very well integrated and I can move between blogs at the click of a button. So far, I've found it very easy to set up multiple blogs and to get multiple feeds onto my main blog platform. I've just been experimenting with html in the side panel of one blog, where I've just uploaded a newsletter subscription form. Right now I'm uploading some photos. In short, I'm having fun - and liking the results!
Reverse Phone Reverse Phone - Does the reverse phone directory only allow you to get one person's name at a time or can you get multiple?
Useful Business Cards Useful Business Cards - At one point in my business I branched out into many other avenues and had multiple divsions within the main company. I was in a rush to get the word out, so I ordered business cards for each division. Several months later I brought in a marketing director and manager to help out and the first thing she did was to redesign my cards. I still use the cards she created. They have business name, my name, contact info, website, tag line and license and insurance info on the front. Turn the card over and there's a list of the services we offer. A couple of the advantages she pointed out to me were - 1 - I only had to keep up with and hand out one card - 2 - multiple services listed on one card gives the opportunity for clients to have us do additional work. Our yellow page ads use a similar plan and have helped us do repeat work and additional work for many clients. Chris
