My best friend gave a call today and asked me what she should do to reset her Windows password. She uses Windows 7 and sheforgot windows password that is to log on to administrator on her computer at home after her business trip. There's no guest account, either. And she had to get some important files in her computer so that she would make a report to her manager. She is so upset and depressed. I told her that she could remove Windows 7 password she forgot or reset it as soon as possible.

She had tried to turn her computer on before it boots up, press f8 or f11 to start it in safe mode to reset the password without having to put the old password. But she failed to enter safe mode as it prompts for password. Because the presupposition to use Safe Mode is that you are able to enter safe mode with an administrator account. If you don't have another administrator account, you cannot enter the safe mode and remove Windows 7 password you have forgotten.
