Top 2 Efficient Ways For Windows 7 Password Recovery

Method 1:windows 7 password reset with a Windows 7 Setup Disc

If you don't resort to Windows password recovery tools, and there is no important data in your PC, you can try to reset Windows 7 password with a Windows 7 setup disc. And here is the guidance:

Step 1: Boot up your computer with the Windows 7 Setup CD in the computer's optical drive.

Step 2: When it asks to repair your existing Windows installation, accept it and press "R" to run the repair.

Step 3: Allow the computer to start repairing itself by copying files to the hard drive.

Step 4: Wait for the computer to reboot, and then come to a screen that reads "Press any key to continue." Do not press any keys.

Step 5: Allow the computer to restart the installation process and look at the details on the bottom of the screen.

Step 6: Press Shift +F10 key together when you see "Installing Devices" at the bottom of the screen.

Step 7: Type nusrmgr.cpl and press Enter when it opens a Command Prompt window.

Step8: It'll open the same "User Accounts" window which you see in Control Panel.

Step 9: Click "Administrator" and change the password in the field as you see fit.

Method 2: There are much good software in the market that is for Windows 7 password reset, including free windows password recovery tools and commercial ones. For free one, Ophcrack is one of the most popular one, but it will cost you much time to recover Windows 7 password. For saving time, you can also try commercial Windows password recovery tools.

Re: What are your February Goals? Re: What are your February Goals? - Hi Evan, Thanks for the feedback. I did wonder about those arrows, and the lack of a headline. I should probably add a headline and a set of arrows pointing to the Windows download button, then have the Mac option placed below it without arrows. Actually, if you had gone the "Mac" route on Windows you would have downloaded a pdf file, so no worries. Mac users, however, can't open exe files (unless they use OSX etc and have a Windows partition on their hard-drive). I'm still experimenting with download methods - the boomerang method / standard squeeze page download / splash page direct download without needing to join my list...
