Apple MacBook Pro Adopts the Attributes of MacBook Air

Apple MacBook Pro Adopts the Attributes of MacBook Air

According to the reports of AppleInsider, Apple is adjusting the MacBook Pro product line, not only remove the optical drive, but also use flash memory instead of hard drive. Apple has always been on the cutting edge of innovation, the company aims by the end of this year to completely overhaul its MacBook Pros, giving the laptops a makeover by adopting some of the attributes of its ultra-thin MacBook Air machines.

It reported that Apple will change 15-inch MacBook Pro with these plans, subsequently extended to 17-inch MacBook Pro. This is equivalent to the introduction of 15 and 17-inch MacBook Air to replace the MacBook Pro product line. Many had hoped that the redesigned 15-inch notebook would debut by the end of 2011, but Apple apparently elected to squeeze in one final minor spec bump as it waited for Intel's Ivy Bridge platform to launch in 2012. AppleInside now weighs in with its own claims essentially mirroring much of what was previously reported, but emphasizing that the shift will likely see a unification of Apple's notebook lines under the MacBook Air design aesthetic, covering the full range of 11-inch to 17-inch sizes by the end of this year.

Apple has completed the MacBook Air product line adjustment in October 2010, the introduction of 13.3 inches and 11.6 inches two versions. Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, said at the time of these products for the future of the notebook. Last summer, the company also released an upgraded version of the MacBook Air, using a faster processor, and Thunderbolt interface. Since 2008 using a molding design, the appearance of the Apple MacBook Pro product line has been no drastic changes. Technology blog iLounge said that Apple plans a substantial change of the appearance of the product at the beginning of this year.

Vista? - Don't bother....get a Mac instead...you'll have a lot less headaches. I used a pc for years and spent far too much of my time dealing with fixing, rebooting, installing and waiting. My MacBook is great. I never have to reboot due to a crash, didn't even have to install my printer, just plugged it in and it was there ready to print. It's fast, friendly & fun.

It's fast, friendly & fun.[/quote:14rzth14] That's great tracyselena but it would take more time for Windows based entrepreneurs to sit down and learn how to use the Dock (instead of Start) and Macintosh OS procedures when compared to rebooting and installing once or twice a month. I will admit that there are a lot of advantages to Macs IF you have the time to learn a new way of doing things on a Mac computer (easy wireless networking and printer installation through Airport Express), but why try to fix things when processes are streamlined enough?

Re: Quick Poll: Do you use a PC or Mac? - I have been with pc since the late 70's and have been a beta tester and put up with most of the pains and agony of Microsoft products. Built in obsolescence, sells more upgrades . While Apple claimed to have resolved most of these over the years, my issue have been to go where the tools and resources are. Most made made for pc first - and perhaps improved by Apple later. What I promote is pc based because the pc still has the greatest market share, at least at last check. I am an early adopter of technology and software and don't want to wait for the Mac version
