Having a home business is one of the biggest search terms on the internet….why is this? Why would someone go to college or university and after all those years of sacrifice and struggle and time commitment want to walk away from a career they “thought” they wanted? Many reasons….downsizing, long hours, stress, no family time, not enough money, a recession…..often a combination of all of these. When people are fed up enough, they start entertaining new ideas…start searching for ways that are outside of what they are doing. These seemingly negative reasons that people start looking, actually fuel the motivation behind making significant improvements to their lives. That is exactly what happened for me….when my income dropped to 1/3 of what I had been accustomed to for 5 years in a row and I was about to lose my home, THAT was the pivitol point that changed my life! When things are going ok, when things are “comfortable” people get complacent…it is usually when things are going wrong that the motivation for change happens….that is when many people decide they want a total change and get serious about finding a home business. I am very grateful I was in that position myself back in 2005….because of that challenging financial position, I got the motivation to do something about it, and find a home business that I could use to turn my life around….and now I spend my time assisting other people start their own business and finally start living the life they WANT, not the life that they have been conditioned to accept.
