Income Level Stats

I just read some interesting stats regarding income levels that are quite disturbing.....and this really fires me up!

Here is the headline.... "Median Total Income reaches $25,400 in 2005, Largest Increase In Four Years"...The report from Ottawa, Canada states that the median total income of individuals in Canada amounted to $25,400 in 2005, up 1.9% from 2004 after adjusting for inflation. The report went on to say this is the largest annual increase in median total income - the point where half of incomes are higher and the other half are lower - since 2001!

Now tell me, how does the average Canadian survive on an income under $30,000 annually? How can you raise a family on this income.....how can you buy a home on this income.....how can you simply provide the basics, like food, hydro, phone, insurance, car expenses, etc. And I'm sure this isn't happening just in Canada.

What is more shocking is that society has accepted this mediocrity! People actually continue to work for this slave wage and are conditioned to believe that they should be thankful for having a job and believe this is all they are worth!

Wake up Canada! This is NOT acceptable! You ARE worth more than that! As long as you believe that is all you are worth, and as long as people are willing to work for this pathetic wage, the illusion that a headline like this is actually good news will continue.

It is time to take a stand for what you really want in your life....stop accepting your "lot" in life and decide what you want, what type of income you DESERVE, and then go and make it happen.

Re: What are your success criteria? Re: What are your success criteria? -
Out of curiousity, what has to be present for you to know that your business is a success? The top three things for me are: 1. Maintaining a 6 figure income year in and year out. 2. Creating and promoting my own products. 3. Income not solely dependent upon my personal effort. How about yours?[/quote:1igrdgib] I would have to say mine were: 1. Monthly Residual Income that exceeds all expenses by 110% 2. Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1) 3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids Now that is "feel good work".

Re: THE SECRET TO SUCCESS IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD...RIGHT NOW!!! Re: THE SECRET TO SUCCESS IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD...RIGHT NOW!!! - Hey Barry,
"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing." - Abraham Lincoln WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS STATEMENT ???[/quote:ev3dumxj] It's true on two levels. Level 1 - Doing something for the first time to succeed. Level 2 - Coming back from failure and not resting until you've regained success. The scares maybe deep. The wounds tender to the touch. But it will always be man's resolve or lack there of that defines the limits he is willing to go to, to gain or regain succeed. Books, audios, videos, courses, seminars, webinars, & etc. are important and I can't get enough. But nothing can take the place of what a man must decide to do, deep down within himself, if he wants to succeed.
