Are Your Intentions Crystal Clear

When was the last time you checked in with yourself, and I mean really checked in with yourself, to see where your intention was at particularly with your goals, decisions and even New Year's resolutions? Along with making a decision or setting a goal, we also need to set a clear intention of what we are creating.

Checking my "intention" was not something that I would think of to do on a regular basis. Yet I have learned that it is critical to do so, just as critical as focusing on my goal or decision.

I have come up with two different types of intentions: one is the "crystal clear intention" and the other is the "wishy-washy intention". I define a crystal clear intention as a positive thought or belief that supports my decision 1000 percent. This allows me to see the end result, have a great gut feeling about the desired result, and to put into action all that I need to do to create that result.

I define the wishy-washy intention as a negative thought or belief that stands in the way of, sabotages or delays reaching the end result. Although I may intellectually be able to see the end result, I have mixed gut feelings about the desired result, allow doubts and justifications to set in and only take enough action to make it look like I am moving towards my end result. And then remain confused as to why it is not happening for me.

We create crystal clear intentions and wishy-washy intentions every day. For example, let's say I start work at 8:30 a.m. I know I have to be there for 8:30 and I have made a decision that I will be there at 8:30 or earlier. I then need to set a crystal clear intention that I will be on time or a little early. Once that is crystal clear, I will take action to make it happen.

If I am traveling by bus, for example, I will make sure that I pick the bus time that will allow me to be at work at 8:30 a.m. If I am traveling by car, I will pick the time to leave the house that will allow me to arrive and be ready for work by 8:30.

Now let's look at the wishy-washy intention. Same scenario, I start work at 8:30 a.m. I know and have ackn0wleged that I need to be there for 8:30 a.m. However, my intention is a little wishy-washy this time, therefore, my actions are a little wishy washy. So rather than catch the bus that would guarantee to get me there early, I decided to catch the next bus which would either make me on time or a little late based on traffic.

So after being late a few times, which does get noticed, my supervisor chooses to speak to me about it. And my response is "Well, that is the time the bus gets me here and I do not see why I have to take an earlier bus." What is essentially getting me into hot water with my supervisor is my wishy-washy intention.

So let's relate this now to something that is currently going on in your life that you are struggling with, having challenges with, or not creating the results that you want. Write them down on a piece of paper and pick one.

The first step is to ask yourself what your intention is and then just listen for the answer. Or you could write the question down, 'What is my intention with regards to..." and write whatever comes to you. And if you draw a blank, simply keep asking yourself the question, in a gentle way, until the mind finally offers up an answer.

The second step is to take a good look at what you came up with as your intention and examine it. Is it a crystal clear intention or a wishy-washy intention? Are there any "buts" showing up? Is it giving you the results that you want, or not? If not, let's examine a little further.

The third step is to ask yourself some questions around your goal or decision. Be like a detective looking for clues as to what might be behind your wishy-washy intention. Maybe it is not something that you want but made this a goal because someone else suggested it or told you that it would be good for you. Maybe you are not ready to make this change or shift right now. Maybe you do not believe that you truly deserve to have this.

Here are some of the things that can get in the way of a crystal clear intention and turn it into a wishy-washy intention:

• Your Ego...stop listening to your ego (that conversation in your mind) telling you negative things.

• Negativity from others who do not believe that you can achieve this or believe that it will be good for you. I call this being under the influence of..... This includes family, friends, relatives and co-workers.

• Negativity from yourself, check your own attitude around the whole situation. Are you doing this because you want to and are excited about it or are you doing this because you believe that you have to and are not having any fun?

• Your own negative thoughts and beliefs about yourself, what you believe you deserve, what you believe society, your family, friends, relatives and co-workers believe you deserve does impact it all. What you believe about yourself and who you believe you are can get in the way if it has a negative approach to it.

• Justifications which allow you to not do the things you know that you need to do to make this happen.

• Behaviors that are not supporting you in achieving your goal like procrastination.

So which ones are you relating to that are fitting your situations? Great, once you have identify the problem, you can work at letting it go. Tell the ego to go take a flying leap somewhere. Only share your goals with those people whom you know will support you 1000 percent. And if they're not supporting you, tell them to get out of the way and that includes that part of yourself that is caught up in negativity. Let go of justifications and procrastination and work on knowing and believe that you do deserve the very best that you can think of.

Now, if after all of this you discover that the goal or decision is not one that you can get excited about or is even in your best interest, know that it is okay to release the goal or decision. Or if you have discovered that you made this decision or goal under the influence of someone else and are only doing this to please them, again, know that it is okay to release the goal or decision.

This will free you up to work on the decisions and goals that you have made that are in your best interest and you have crystal clear intentions on. Or, this will free you up to make new decisions or goals that are in your best interest and that you have crystal clear intentions on.

It is the crystal clear intentions that support us in manifesting positive outcomes day after day after day. Take a moment and make a list of all of the things that you achieved today, or even this week. Know that this is partly because you had a very crystal clear intention on doing those and that is why nothing got in the way.

When I start my day I like to make a "to do list" and then check each one off as I get it done. Each time I check one off I feel a great sense of accomplishment and a satisfaction knowing that my crystal clear intention is at work.

Your assignment for the next week, if you choose to accept it, is to pay very close attention to the daily and weekly goals and decisions that you make for yourself and consciously engage your crystal clear intention to make it happen. Keep track of them so that at the end of the week you can see the great results that you have created.

Also, use your crystal clear intention to move yourself forward in your bigger goals and decisions. Decide what the next step is for you to do, set forth your crystal clear intention, and make things happen.

With love and gratitude,

Elizabeth

Re: Recommendations for going Wireless Re: Recommendations for going Wireless - There is one that has popped up in the past couple years called Clear. I had even considered becoming a local distributor, but decided against it since there was enough competition in my area already. Might want to check into that GT.
Which movie will make the most money this summer? Which movie will make the most money this summer? - Which movie do you think will make the most money this summer and why? Moreover, what do you think its box office total will be? Personally, I'm most looking forward to watching the new Batman movie ("The Dark Knight"), but I think "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull's" brand and family adventure appeal will help it to reign supreme at the box office.
Re: Which movie will make the most money this summer? Re: Which movie will make the most money this summer? - Hellboy disappeared from the Top-10 faster than I expected.. Journey To The Center of the Earth was fun (I saw it in 3D), but really suffered from the fact that it didn't have a villain to provide tension. The problem with Crystal Skull as a family film was that it had that totally unneccessary sequence with the voracious ants eating people alive... I didn't like it when it happened in the Mummy with the beetles, and I didn't like it here! Dark Knight seems to keep chugging along. One thing that really irritates me about movies is that sometimes the trailers shown are totally inappropriate for the movie it's preceding. I went to a screening of Wall-E - with a theater full of little kids, and they showed two rather graphic trailers for horror movies! That's totally unacceptable!

Sad to say, that will help the box office numbers. The early reviews all said that his performance was fantastic, which will also help the box office. Chris
Re: Success Re: Success - I study success intently, and would like to share: Here's two excellent and nearly identical success-formulas from a couple of the world's masters. FIRST FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Clear, Definite Purpose 3. Committed Decision 4. Take Action In Faith (Bonus Secret Sauce: 5. Repeat Consistently) I made a video about this, but am not allowed to link it yet. Google "Ryze Success Steps" for it. Oh, and this is Napoleon Hill's (Master Of Success Laws)'s Formula. SECOND FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Understand It Is Already Done (Faith) 3. Relax & Allow It To Unfold (Go about your life calmly) This one is courtesy of Abraham-Hicks (inspiration for the movie The Secret). Hope that helps!
