Who are your team members?

Guest post by: Elizabeth J. Macarthur

Article Overview: Teams, as we may like to think, are not a creation of the 20th century. Teams have been around since the beginning of time, especially spiritual teams. There have always been Gods and Goddesses, Angels and Archangles that have worked with people in supporting them in their life's purpose. All throughout history and historical books, papers and even the Bible, we can find references to messages being delivered from above using many different terms and names. Today, however, it is becoming more and more popular and acceptable to communicate with Angels, spirits, etc. and consciously adding them to our own teams. MasterMind groups is a great example of this. My hope is that this article will lead you to feel inspired to add to or even create you very own spiritual team. It really is quite simple and very effective.

Who are your team members?

The team that I would like us to consider today is our own personal spiritual team. This is the team that most often gets neglected; however is the most powerful team of all.

We all know that the benefits of being on a team include having: increased knowledge; increased influence; increased power; increased resources; increased energy; increased connections; unlimited support; etc. This also applies to our spiritual team. These team members can move mountains to bring us the resources we need to continuing living our life's purpose (the plan).

The first group of team members to consider is "mentors", people who have gone before us and can offer us insight, information, courage, etc. You may have already engaged in an in-person mentor or two in your journey thus far. Now is the time to add mentors from the spiritual world.

There are those who have gone before us who are waiting on the other side for us to invite them to help us now. These can be people that you've known and have passed away. They can be deceased relatives. They can be those that you have admired their work from years or centuries ago while they were here or are simply drawn to them for some unknown reasons.

My first experience of creating my spiritual team was several years ago when I first heard about a master mind team. That's when I learned that it was possible to add anyone to your team, regardless if they was alive or had passed on. Although I did dabble in this a little bit at the time, I now realize that I did not fully comprehend and understand the incredible value of adding those who have passed over as team members. I was still thinking that I could do everything on my own and didn't need anyone's help, spiritually or otherwise. Plus I was a little skeptical about it working for me.

So how do we add someone to our team that has already passed on? Well, first consider who you are attracted to. Who do you like reading about or whose work do you find fascinating? Are you a history buff and love reading about certain people in history? Or simply ask yourself the question, "Who would work well on my team based their experiences, knowledge and characteristics?" And then listen and see what ideas or thoughts pop into your mind. You can also meditate and ask the question of who would work well on your team.

Once you have decided who you would like to add as a team member(s), simply ask them to join you. You can do this either verbally or with your thoughts. It really is that simple. You can communicate with them using creative writing which is writing a question on a piece of paper and then just allowing your hand to write whatever comes next. Or you can meditate and communicate with them inside the meditation.

Also, they will communicate with you through your intuition, thoughts, songs, signs, other people and messages that you will receive. So be alert to all that is happening around you.

In Grade 8 I did a book report on King Tutankhamun, an Egyptian King. I became very interested in King Tutankhamun as well as Queen Nefertiti who is rumored to be either King Tutankhamun's mother or grandmother. So guess who part of my team is? Yes, both King Tutankhamun and Queen Nefertiti have made the team as well as Joan of Arc.

The second aspect of our spiritual team consists of Angels, Archangels and Fairies. I was stunned to learn that I can call upon Angels to help and support me and realizing that Angels are an extension of God's love. Even more stunned to learn that they have been hanging around just waiting for me ask for their help. This has definitely given me a new meaning to the phrase "Ask and ye shall receive." If you do not know much about Angels, Archangels and Fairies and how they can support us, I recommend that you read up on it as I know you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have learned that there are different Angels and Archangels to support us with different aspects of our lives, all to help us live our life's purpose. And they are all available to help and support all of us with anything that we are experiencing right now. All we have to do is ask.

We can communicate with the Angels in the same way as described above. And they will communicate with us as described above as well. Simply trust that it is real and that you deserve to have this incredible support for you.

Knowing that we do not have to do it all on our own can also be a great stress releaser and negative releaser which would essentially allow the creativity to flow more freely and open us up to receiving the extra support. Therefore, a variety of team members is essential to leading a productive, successful, prosperous and happy life as we work towards living out our life's purpose.

So who are your team members or who would you like to add to your team. There are no limits as to who we can have on our team or how many team members we can have. You can also invite others to join you for special projects in their areas of expertise.

The two rules that I do follow in regards to my spiritual team are as follows:

I have learned in reading information about Angels that the only thing they require in return for their support and help is a simple "Thank-you". So I have also included my thank-you to all members of my spiritual team. And all I can tell you is that it is working for me and my life has changed dramatically in the last six months. Right now I am reading Doreen Virtue's books on Angels and highly recommend them.

So my call to action for you today is to:

With love and gratitude,

Elizabeth

Re: PLEASE JOIN ME . . . . Re: PLEASE JOIN ME . . . . - Hey Trent, I appreciate the advice. I was just sending an invitation to everyone I could. I was introducing myself and OUR objective. I knew this move would be controversial and I apoligized to everyone up front. I'm not hustling the other members for business or Marketing my business. I'm doing this for all of us. I want to build this forum as a team. . . . . Not "my section" but I want to build the Whole forum. We have an incredible team here but we only have 1000 members. I believe that we have so much to offer the world. I believe we have to be more assertive and let the world know we are here. I'm on probation and if you and the team need to vote me out I truly understand that. I take no offense at all....... My personality and the way I build a business is not for everyone. Thanks again Regards Barry
Re: I want a professional review about my marketing forum haffow Re: I want a professional review about my marketing forum haffow - Trent's comments seem fair, I'll be interested to see if you come back. As for your forum, obviously it is very new with very few members. New forums without something very unique about them have a hard time getting traction. A well known marketer with an existing team, membership site, or large list can usually pull off starting a new forum, but most are simply too busy to bother with it. Unless of course it's something that would be a great benefit to their team/members etc. For a complete review I'd like to see you answer some of the following questions First, why did you decide to start the forum? Just to monetize with adsense, or do you have a particular goal? What expertise do you bring to the table? What as admin. can you offer your members? Do you have other sites you own you can use to promote your forum? Obviously there is no incentive to post at a forum where no one is going to read your post. One thing to start with I would spruce up a bit is the look and feel. Pretty generic. I'll keep this thread open a day or two to see if you really were sincerely wanting some feedback and will interact with us here. Cheers, Zac
Re: Moderator Updates Re: Moderator Updates - Thanks for the updated list, GT. I see the Moderator Team pictures have decreased a bit, I'm guessing due to the changes being made and some members not being active as they once were. Hopefully we can find a few more members to add to the list soon as you mentioned in your recent email. Welcome aboard again, Mal. It's great to have you on the team.

Re: How do we increase membership here? Re: How do we increase membership here? - Promoting the heck out of it is really the best way to increase the membership. Evan and his team should be promoting it as much as possible. Us moderators and other members can help too by spreading the word about it anywhere we can.
