In my Internet Marketing workshop we discuss ways to market your business online and market your website OFFLINE. Think of how your marketing and promotion campaigns work. Your phone book ad is there to help get people to your company. Your website does the same thing. But how can people find your phone book ad? They have to look in the phone book, right?

But does the phone book have billions of ads? Of course not. The internet, however, has billions of websites. This is why it's easy for your website to get lost in the crowd. That's also why offline marketing to drive people to your website is important too. Business cards, pens, promotional material and word of mouth is the best way to direct people to your website. Also, providing valuable, up-to-date information to keep people coming back is just as important.

A website alone won't make or break your company. But it is important. There are many people searching the internet for companies like yours. Give it time and give it some attention both online and offline.
