Obama Speaks On The Best Business Model For Internet Marketing
President Obama talked about the best business model for internet marketing today while telling us how the Government will go bankrupt if his health care bill isn't passed. Oh, didn't you hear that part of his speech? Well he didn't talk about it but he should have, it could very well help the 16 million that are out of work and struggling in this recession we are in.
It seems he has bigger problems to address than trying to figure out how to create jobs and ease the economic turmoil for the millions that are out of work. That's unfortunate because a large portion of these people could become small business owners contributing to the recovery process.
Instead he has turned that responsibility over to Congress who as of today, a year later still has not come up with a responsible game plan. Therefore the unemployment rate continues to escalate and those out of work are fending for themselves and searching for answers.
The 10.2 percent unemployment rate released Nov. 6 is the worst in 26 years but does not include people without jobs who have stopped looking for work or those who have settled for part-time jobs. If you counted those people, the unemployment rate would be 17.5 percent, the highest on record dating from 1994.
So what is the answer to this ever increasing problem in our country? Maybe the thousands that are flocking to the internet for the answers on how to make money online are on to something.
They have found the best business model for internet marketing and are using it as a guiding light to get back on their feet.Unfortunately the masses are still waiting on the government for help. Are you one of them or are you ready to take matters into your own hands?
With online retail reaching over $156 Billion in 2009 and expecting to peak that by at least 11% in 2010 more and more of today's unemployed have found a way to survive the perils of losing every possession they have.
Not to mention the repair of their self worth, self esteem and egos that were destroyed through the experience of their job lose. The family structure is also psychologically damaged through this experience from the parents down to the children and if help is not found soon there is nothing but heartache and turmoil for the future.
There is light at the end of the tunnel and it doesn't cost anything for most individuals because nearly everyone in this day and age own a computer and have internet access. - One of the things I focus on is this:
Does the Franchise fit the Business Model you are interested in?
Meaning, are you going to be doing what you want to do on a daily? For example, if you are a restaurant manager now and you hate your job because of the hours, then don't buy most food franchises. You have experience of course, so it is more comfortable, but you will basically be doing very similar duties and hours as you were before.
I always go through a series of questions, answers, more questions, more answers etc... to help my clients figure out what Business Model they are most interested in, I do this before even discussing a single name with them, they tell me what the business model is and then I match them up to that type of business, explain the entire business model as best I can and then and only then do we discuss the name of the company. Too many times people come to me wanting to own "abc" name brand franchise, when they don't even understand what type of business it really is and what they will be doing every day.

- Hi Kevin,
I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

- Hi Kevin,
Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory.
Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing.
I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife
- I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways..
a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak.
Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc..
Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL.
There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.
