Spirituality in Business

A quiet revolution is currently taking place as CEO’s all over the world incorporate spiritual principles into their business practices. On the surface it may seem that business and spirituality are opposites – yet dig a little deeper and it becomes clear that a very prosperous relationship can be formed between these two. I’ve outlined four examples of spiritual principles that will work wonders in your business:

1) Sowing and Reaping

This principle, sometimes called cause and effect, reflects “what we do unto others, we do unto ourselves.” For business owners, it brings awareness to positive behaviours such as integrity and fairness in all aspects of business. Additionally, it reveals the benefits of valuing colleagues, staff and the wider community. Many businesses are choosing to sow time, money or resources into charities and philanthropic organisations and are reaping the rewards of doing so.

2) Love Your Enemies

In life there are positives and negatives - happiness/sadness, health/sickness, pleasure/pain. In business it’s common to view competitors as opposites. However, you will attract negativity to your business whenever you think or act negatively towards your competitors. To “love your enemies” in a business sense means regarding competitors as equal in that they have as much right to the playing field as you do. Thinking positive thoughts will assist your personal performance and improve the quality of your product or service.

3) Positive Affirmation

Praise is powerful! Positive affirmations work just as well for adults as they do for children. If you notice somebody doing their job well at work, let them know you appreciate their efforts. Similarly, if constructive criticism is required, there are ways of correcting a person without humiliating them in the process. It’s a proven fact that human beings respond favourably to praise. Values such as respect, validation and confidence are developed for the person, their boss and other people.
4) Less Stress = Greater Success
There's no better way to recharge one's mind and body than to take a short meditative break. Mediation doesn’t mean turning into a Buddhist Monk! Sitting or walking beside the ocean for ten minutes can be truly invigorating. Likewise a short prayer or affirmation said out loud, followed by five minutes silence enhances one’s mind/body function and heightens their energy levels.

I don’t know about b2b marketing but I have done marketing so know things about it. I will suggest you to take online services which will spread your business all over web network. Online marketing is the best way to market any business.[/quote:428owzbi] B2B = Business to Business - You are marketing to other businesses. B2C = Business to Consumer - You are marketing to consumers.

A new study based on four years of data from men and women in a training program for microenterprises finds that they come out the same in quality scores. "However, women scored significantly better on the presentation of their plan to judges," conclude the study's authors, Ronald G. Cook, Paul Belliveau, and Christine Lentz of Rider University, in a paper presented at a recent meeting of the Small Business Institute. [/quote:ka7lg35i] What do you guys think?
