The Priceless Gift of Hope

One of the most valuable lessons I have learned in life is how important it is to have a sense of hope. Hope gives us an inner sense of security and shines a “light of the end of the tunnel” - providing us with endless inspiration and courage as we strive to reach our goals and aspirations.

The journey of life holds many mysteries that we do not always have answers for. By having hope, we feel motivated and are inclined to view things optimistically - regardless of the unknown. Whenever we are faced with the unknown we can move forward knowing we can conquer our fears through hope!
There is nothing to lose from being hopeful in life; in fact, there is only endless gain. In contrast, being negative brings about great loss and hinders opportunities for growth. If a sense of hopelessness remains, it will stifle advancement and restrict our chances of progress - creating a vicious cycle that frequently leads to depression.

We humans are powerful beings and this strength can be to our own detriment. There are times where we can “get in our own way” through pride; preferring to remain in a state of hopelessness, and operating from limited perspectives, rather than seek positive advice that would alter them. While it is true that if we stand back from our negative circumstances and wait, the answer can reveal itself - it is also true that the answer may not, and we are left feeling bewildered. The time between the waiting and the knowing provides an opportunity to utilise the gift of hope. Hope can come from within us, or it can come via another person – such as a counsellor or life coach.

In my experience I have seen situations where hopelessness becomes hope, availing a person the strength needed to move forward. Bringing hope into a hopeless situation allows us to take time to observe and reflect; and to be mindful of our reactions and responses to it. Thus, we gain a greater self-awareness and personal power in order to choose wisely and make informed decisions. Such an experience shows us that it is far better to control our negative circumstances rather than allow negative circumstances to control us.

Yes, hope is a gift that is truly priceless ...for without hope, we have nothing.

But you have not mentioned anything about what is or are the products that your organization is into. You have also not mentioned what is the target market or who your customers are. But it needs to be mentioned that whom you want to give the gift. There are two different categories of people who visit you. One category is those who are not much interested to buy. They visit the store for inquisitiveness or finding out what you have to offer them. These people can be given some smaller tokens. The other category is of those who buy from you are your real customers and you can give them gifts. The best gift after the sales will definitely be the after sales support and customer services. But these are in the longer run to retain the customers. You can start off with giving some percentage extra depending on what you have to offer. How about Discounts or different Gifts in lieu of purchase of X Amount, Y Amount...
