What if? A question.

Guest post by: Barb Hauge

Article Overview: How many times have we all said those two words? What if I had taken the other job or win the lottery or what if my son or daughter becomes president? These are wishes, do wishes come true? Well, sometimes they do.

What if? A question.

As a girl I had difficulty following rules, I always thought they were there to be broken; I pushed boundaries and limits just to see how far they would stretch. I, of course, outgrew this, as most people do, but my imagination and motivation never left. My parents called it 'stubborn' talk about labels. Well, that's another story.

So, getting back to what if, as some of you already know, after I could no longer drive professionally I became a marketer. Admittedly, that is a big switch in careers and lifestyles, but I have never said 'what if' about my decision. Now, that is not to say it was an easy switch, I knew very little about marketing or the computer, for that matter, but I learned, every day offered a new challenge and I loved it! The amazing thing about this business is the people and the marketing system. The success achieved in this business is because of the powerful online business model that allows real people to have real freedom.

I'm not talking about a get rich quick program or an MLM opportunity. It was an online business that I bought. It's my business, and it was considerably less than a traditional brick and mortar business. Imagine my surprise at the turn my life had taken! So, what if I had not chosen this road and bought lottery tickets instead? I prefer not to think about that.

By now you have realized that this article is not a teaching anything, it's not full of information; it's just about one woman's bad luck story turning great. I call it an inspirational article. I am one of the women in direct sales who has a new lease on life, a new career, and story to share. Thanks for reading.
