Women in direct sales – Five Reasons I Love It!

Let's face it, most women didn't start out with direct sales as a career goal, I know I didn't. I did not start my working life with a degree in direct sales. I had no idea it even existed but somehow the women in direct sales did discover it, saw the potential and love it!

Here are five reasons why I love direct sales.

1. It allows me to do my own time management. Exactly what does this mean to me? It means that I can get up early or late. It means that I can have lunch with my friends...for two hours. When my grandchildren would like to go to the zoo or the park, I can take them.

2. I can work from anywhere. As long as I have access to a phone and the internet, I can work. Imagine the freedom of not being tied to a desk, a time clock and an office!

3. I can use my own creativity. What do I mean by that? Well, if I have an idea I can use it! There is no boss to tell me it's a bad idea, it needs work, or have you thought this through? Only to find the boss has used it as his idea. There are women in direct sales from all walks of life, the confidence that independent thinking and implementation of those ideas bring is very liberating and powerful.

4. I can set my own salary. I have no cap on my earnings. I determine what I make by how much time and effort I invest in myself. The potential is unlimited and only limited by me.

5. I can give back to the community and I assist many people achieve their own goals and dreams. What could be better than giving back, when you have so many riches... and not just monetary. I look forward to each new day knowing it will be filled with new possibilities.

Women in direct sales can be very successful because it allows the flexibility that is needed when you are dealing with a busy household. The family benefits because there is no need for day care for your children. We, the women in direct sales, love what we do.

Review My: e-product sales letter Review My: e-product sales letter - Hello Forum members! We have a lot of sales and direct marketing expertise in here so I thought I would ask for a review of my sales letter for my newly launched e-workbook on how to write a business plan. I'm working on a round of testimonials to include with the sales letter so I know that's a missing component. I wrote the sales letter myself and I tried to lay the benefits out as clearly as possible but I'm not a professional copywriter so I'm open to suggestions! Thank you in advance!
Want some idea about Clickbank ebooks Want some idea about Clickbank ebooks - Have you thought of doing a direct response sales letter? This would be your landing page. It doesn't have to be hyper copy like you see in many sales letters.
Re: How do you overcome the fear of rejection while selling? Re: How do you overcome the fear of rejection while selling? - Great video Evan, I have not worked in direct sales in the none Internet world, always in the service sector but many years back I worked as service manager for a national brewer here in the UK and the sales manager was fond of telling all his team that they should get used to rejection, it is part of sales. My own take on this has always been that some will, some won't, so what, move on !!. I find this is very true with Internet Marketing and I never take any rejection personally as it is not me that customers are rejecting but what I am selling or the way that I am selling it and both of these things can be improved, regards, Mal.
Re: Hello Everyone Re: Hello Everyone - Kyle, I used to sell cars in Las Vegas. Sold about 300 then the economy went down in 2008. What would I do differently? I would do my personal direct mail campaign, with free reports offering on the web, talking about financing, trade-ins, whole-sale market, sales tips etc. I would then position myself as the only car sales person doing it in town. From there, I will get customer's mailing address and start sending post-cards and sales letters, again, using the internet to automate this sales process. I will also do video promos, me teaching in video how to finance a car etc. Then I would have a YouTube channel to cross promote the channel and my website where my prospects come to give me their email address. Oh I loved selling cars, meeting different people every day...
Re: History of Women in Business in the United States Re: History of Women in Business in the United States - Yes. Women have increasingly made positive economic contributions to society and their position is being recognized more and more as seen on the Forbes List of Executive Women. In general, women can be a bit more practical in their approach as entrepreneurs too.
