This article helps you to begin uncovering what the real source of financial debt is, so you can transcend it or riding that fine line between being in the red and being in the black.

A rich attitude creates rich dividends

As you face the beginning of the year and decade, are you viewing it with abundance or scarcity? Well, your chances of having a life filled with richness will be much greater if you have a “glass half full (not half empty)” attitude to life. Why is that? Here’s a quick illustration: "Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change"(Wayne Dyer).Case in point, as the outdoor heat has been lowering, or rising depending on where in the world you live, have your revenues been dropping? If you find yourself saying, "That’s typical for this time of year", think again.

Have you ever heard this, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear"? The statement holds true for finances, especially if you fear being in debt while managing your business. For many small business owners, this challenge often arrives during certain seasons of the year. How can one directly face this fear, in order to experience a brighter tomorrow?

The first question to ask your self is: What do you fear losing as a result of being in debt? Jot down these losses now. Do you perhaps fear losing…

1. What got you into debt in the first place: e.g. your business, house, or car?

2. Self-esteem, because you attracted situations that put you (further) in the hole?

3. Integrity or honor, should you be unable to repay your debt?

4. Your reputation, should your credit rating suffer?

Is it possible that your biggest fear is the consequences of debt, not the debt itself? That is, can you afford to lose your self-esteem, integrity, and reputation as a self-employed professional? More importantly, can you afford to continue “being” and “doing” the same ol', same ol'?

As a creation of God(dess)/the Universe/Light/Creator/Spirit, you - as a Soul - are worthy just by the fact that you exist. Given this, does it make sense to describe yourself as worthy, honorable and valuable - except for when you can’t meet your financial responsibilities? If that were the case, you wouldn't to have the right to exist. Here’s something to help you climb out of that hole. Complete the following sentence, “As a coach or consultant, I value myself for…”

1. Being innovative, creative or imaginative

2. Offering high quality services or products

3. My ability to easily solve complex problems

4. My organizational skills

5. Being an inspiring leader

Let today be the day that you - your Soul, and not your Ego - begin believing that you are worthy! Who knows? It could be the beginning of a rich and beautiful friendship between you and money. This “richer” attitude will surely create rich dividends for you and the people whose lives you impact... both professionally and personally!

Re: Gap Between Rich and Poor Widens Re: Gap Between Rich and Poor Widens - What i believe about the gap between the rich and poor getting widens is a result of choice we make. Everyone has the right to chooce what he or she wants in life. You cannot choose for anyone. Check anywhere they say is the poorest in any part of the world, you will notice that there is still a rich person there. If there is no working knowledge, poverty and riches are everywhere but what turns them around is how you work on your choice in life. I read virtually majority who are rich in today in our world, were not born into the rich family. But they make choices to be rich using what they have to get what they need. Even in the Bible, it has been ordained that some people will be rich while some will be poor, not that God made that way but by the reason of choice everyone will determine what he or she becomes. What a good post we have here. Cheers!

Re: Think Big, think Rich, think Millionaire, think Freedom! Re: Think Big, think Rich, think Millionaire, think Freedom! - [quote="bmueller47":2yq5059b]Rich people admire other rich and successful people. Poor people resent rich and successful people. (This is important, too — it seems to hold true among my friends.)[/quote:2yq5059b] Hi Beat, To build on the point you outlined, I would say that rich people typically think cooperation, while poor people think competition. Entrepreneurs should come up with creative ways in which they can grow with others in their industry, rather than try to put one another out of business.
Re: Gap Between Rich and Poor Widens Re: Gap Between Rich and Poor Widens - The problem ultimately becomes that the rich have access to more through their wealth, like the education one needs to get a good, high paying job, while the poor don't. The poor face a number of challenges (aside from just a lack of wealth) that the rich don't. For example, due to the enormous amount of stress that is usually associated with the sorts of jobs that low-income people can secure, they tend to get sick frequently. Which means that they will either have to miss work or the performance at their job will suffer. Not to mention the hopeless feeling that comes along with working a dead end, minimum wage job. It doesn't surprise me that the gap between the rich and poor is widening to the point that people are starting to take notice. How to fix it however, I have no idea. While I know that some people would jump at the chance to earn more and possibly get the education that they need to get a better job, I know that others would find a way to scam the system and not do anything to better their situation at all. It's a vicious cycle.
Re: What or Who Sparks Your Business Interest Re: What or Who Sparks Your Business Interest - This is a nice thread, and I love reading all the stories. For me it started with the dream of owning my own business, I wanted my own store, selling puzzles, jigsaws, etc. It was too expansive to start and it is not a very successful niche here. So I decided to check other niches and then came the internet marketing option. The dream of being wealthy was always a dream and my parents always told me that to be rich you have to be born into a rich family or be a thief. I decided to prove them wrong.
