Right attention attracts right results to entrepreneurs

Guest post by: Monique MacKinnon

Article Overview: Entrepreneurs can be highly imaginative and adventurous, the down side of which can leave them scattered. The up side is, when they focus their attention in the “right” way, this puts them back on track to creating the results they desire for themselves. This article explains what this “attention” is, including with practical everyday suggestions.

Right attention attracts right results to entrepreneurs

If you want to create different and better results for yourself and your team, at work and/or home, consider going a step further in your self-development and expanding your inner self. If you continue managing your time, finances, people and stress, and additionally, focus your attention and actions on what matters in your life, professionally and personally, you will begin to manifest more of what is on your wish or dream list. This is called “stretching” your current state of being. Why is this important? - Because there are only 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year: limited time. If you are accustomed to using a time-based model for whatever you do, consider the potential and promise inherent in making that shift, from managing to also giving attention to. If you make that commitment, you will be addressing the most important piece of the Prosperity Puzzle, the fact that…

The Laws of Attraction operate on energy and matter. If you focus your attention on being open-minded, vibrant and evolving, for example, then you will increase your chances of achieving your goals. To best grasp this principle, it helps to know that the energy of giving is expansive and invites boundless opportunity -- while that of managing is controlling and promotes limited success within preconceived boundaries. Case in point, if you are an entrepreneur who desires is to attract more clients and money into your life, you will accomplish these outcomes much more easily and quickly if you change your relationship with people and money, respectively, from one of managing to also giving attention to. That is, in order to receive more perfect clients and more money, you first need to give or nurture your relationship with yourself, others and money. A good way to begin is to consistently focus your attention on deepening your internal peace, as opposed to energizing your internal war. So, how do you know if you are attending more to your inner war than your inner peace, or vice-versa? Simply refer to the following table, specifically the Constricting and Expansive columns, respectively, at the following levels of change: Thoughts, Feelings, and Actions.

Focus of Attention:

(1) Thoughts

Constricting: Doubt your ability to attract what you want.

Expansive: Believe in yourself. Focus your attention on moving forwards with purpose, perseverance, courage, and faith – which will allow you to attract what you want.

(2) Feelings

Constricting: (a) Fear poverty; (b) Fear criticism; (c) Fear ill health and focus on symptoms.

Expansive: (a) Feel wealthy: like you already have everything you want; (b) Choose to feel good and healthy; (c) Feel great about yourself, despite what others think, do, or say.

(3) Actions

Constricting: Live in mental, emotional and physical chaos. e.g. Fear of poverty shows up as doubt, indecision, indifference, over-caution, procrastination – and sometimes even as preying upon others economically.

Expansive: Spread peace out in the world by: helping your clients’ reduce their everyday stress; using non-violent communication: e.g. goal, intention, objective or purpose - instead of a dead-line or drop dead date.

To translate the above theory into practice, dare to challenge your self with the following suggestions:

Coach’s Challenge #1: Determine how are you addressing the conflict and unrest that exists inside your psyche? That is, identify what is making you repel (as opposed to draw) your Perfect Clients or Soul Mate, money, or other desires. Is it anger, fear or greed, all of which are low-vibration/negative emotions? We all need time to take it easy and re-“new” ourselves. Give yourself the luxury of “down time” or “quality attention” to do this. Come next month, you will be able to use your newly-formed inner skills to help you attract a more prosperous future.

Coach’s Challenge #2: What "me-attention" and "we-attention" - i.e. downtime - are you willing to set aside and enjoy?

Re: Social Media Marketing - Corporate Vs. Small Business Re: Social Media Marketing - Corporate Vs. Small Business - Hi Jeff, I spent a lot time for social media maketing (or social bookmarking, social networking) and it is best marketing method for me now. In order to get great results from scoail media, we must get attention of media certainly. For this, you must have a lot of friends there, so you could vote for each others posts. Addyour link to social media sites and if you have friends voting fo it, then it will be go higher on those sites and more people will visit your site and posts. Without friends network it is impossible to get attention for entrepreneurs. Also posting quality posts on those sites (I have joined 85-90 social media sites) and doing it without spamming helps to get more traffic and attention. For example, I have some friends in PlugIm. I post my own site there once a week (certainly I add others site too). When my marketer friends like it they vote and it gets higher there and bings customers for my site
Entrepreneurs Having Fun? Entrepreneurs Having Fun? - Thanks for the article slaphappy! I think these results can probably be applied to most entrepreneurs (I went away for the month of August and only had 2-3 days where I didn't check my emails). What do you suggest entrepreneurs can do to have more fun?

Those are the kind of people who should be removed from everyone's friend list.
Getting beyond the solopreneur Getting beyond the solopreneur - Hi Melanie - from my experience most entrepreneurs have a great deal of difficulty getting beyond the solopreneur stage where they are doing everything themselves. They don't have enough money coming in to justify hiring somebody to come on and help them, they haven't found the right people to work for free or on a results basis - so they end up doing everything themselves. Any suggestions for these entrepreneurs? I'm sure our readers will appreciate it.
Re: When is your interest peaked by unsolicited mail? Re: When is your interest peaked by unsolicited mail? - In "The Copywriter's Handbook", author Robert W. Bly emphasizes that effective attention-getting words are ones that offer news. For instance, Bly says "Headlines that give news often use words such as new, discover, introducing, announcing, now, it's here, at last, and just arrived...Free is the most powerful word in the copywriter's vocabulary...Other powerful attention-getting words include how to, why, sale, quick, easy, bargain, last chance, guarantee, results, proven and save" (pg 17 & 18). However, I feel as if all of Bly's keywords are over-used and audiences have learned to ignore them in unsolicited email headlines.
