Guest post by: Monique MacKinnon

Article Overview: In this article, teamwork takes on a whole new, more expansive and empowering meaning that lends itself to increased prosperity for you and your team members. If I divulge more about this simple (not the same as easy) solution to you, I will be giving it away before you even start reading!

Teams that gel are more apt to sell

If you have been holding yourself back lately because of fears from your past and stories you continue to sell to yourself, it is an invitation for you to proceed forward, so that you can overcome your old sense of self-limitation. It is a good time for you to self-reflect, and to look at your old hurts and pains -- this time with compassionate understanding. This will allow you to move forward with less self-restraint and more enthusiasm. Here is an easy-to-follow example.

During the past few weeks, as I was losing sleep over the thought of writing my next e-book, I experienced a few moments of hesitation where I noticed my Authentic Voice expressing the following, “For crying out loud!” After hearing this message a few times, I began to see it as a cry for help. My Authentic Voice wanted to speak out and be heard, while my Victim Voice wanted me to shrink back and figure it all out before taking the next step. Well, it is only when I committed myself fully to writing this e-book that I was able to attract the words to the pages. I just needed to shush my Victim Voice -- the big voice that demands seeing the e-book script before giving you permission to commit yourself to writing it. But asking to see the script before you have written it is nonsensical. So, how often do you: allow your Victim Voice to talk back to you in a critical or authoritarian manner, and hand over your power to it by deciding to sit and pout and not even make your follow up or sales call -- all because your Victim is threatening you with the: “Nah, nah, you cannot do it or it is not within you!”

Why am I sharing this personal story with you? Because as proud as you may be that you can do it all on our own, you only hurt yourself if you continue operating this way, which includes honoring your Victim Voice. As humans, we crave contact with others -- including our Authentic Voice -- and become our best selves when we team up with others. So, it is only fitting at this point then, for me to announce that teamwork is the glue that helps hold us together and make us successful, including work successfully and sell well: We are here for one another -- not in a co-dependent but supportive way. So, let me ask you: Are you denying your powerful Authentic Voice the opportunity to speak out and be heard, and to share your authentic message with your audience? Plus, as a means to attract what you want in life, what connections with new team members and joint venture partners will your Authentic Voice be helping you make today?

Re: private label rights Re: private label rights - Don't think of PLR as just articles or written work. Also consider actual products. Example if you were to create or have someone create a "backlink creator", you can sell the PLR to that. In this case it can be easier to make more money and faster. Instead of you having to market and sell something for $20 sell the PLR to 100 people for $100 then they can sell for whatever they want. If you were to get 100 people to buy it at $20 that is $2000 for you. Now if you were to sell the PLR to your product to 100 people for $100, obviously that is better... So if PLR is done properly you can make a lot of money... I have some things I will be getting into in 2009 that relate to this subject, so I will share as I progress.
Make your strategy Make your strategy - First up, you need to identify where you want to go; 1. Who do you want to sell to? 2. How do you want to sell it to them? 3. What do you have to work with in the way of resources. 4. How much do you need to sell it. 5. What do you need to sell it. 6. What makes your product different to everyone else’s? I saw your design, you're a talented graphic artist, but immediately selling a design featuring only your logo without an existing market presence to back it may prove to be a mistake. Have you thought about offering a range of apparel, or even offering custom designs to people as an option?
Online Teen Magazine... Tips Online Teen Magazine... Tips - If you're starting a teen mag, it's going to be about parties, sex and celebrities. anything else won't sell...you're going to have to decide whether you're going to sell to guys or girls...sell to guys...I hear that category is growing and easier to break into (less competition). what about wired meets playboy, with a new CD in every issue? 2. magazines are started by you going around to get LOI signed by prospective advertisers/sponsors 3. if you can do that, you can then think about how to get an editor
Re: Finance - Budgeting Re: Finance - Budgeting - A great way to stick within your budget is to find the right wholesale spot. Some wholesalers sell cheaper products than others, so it's definitely something you want to take into consideration. You want to get the best BULK cost possible for the products you need to sell. The smaller the cost, the more you can buy and the more you can sell it for. Come tax time, you'll have enough money in your pocket to satisfy the costs of the store's taxes.
Re: Do you have to have your own business in order to Re: Do you have to have your own business in order to - Hi FreshGoods, In my country you can register a patent even if it's only in the idea stage. My x-boss used to register them all the time, then register again at the product phase. If you have a good idea, it's best to have a prototype to sell, however, idea is good too if you don't have the funds to build it. If your product is something people will benefit from you can always register it, manufacture and sell until the company grows and you can sell the company and retire young. Basically, the more advanced you are in the steps you can sell for more, and the investor will more likely to look at a real product than only idea.
