Take baby steps to reach your dreams

To be successful you have to learn how to take baby steps. We're all aware of those get rich schemes, they simply do not work. You have to create a brand name and gradually reach success. If you have a website it's a must to check your daily statistics. See if your website clicks are growing. Find out which advertising tool is the most effective by watching your daily clicks. I've advertised my book on television and cost per click marketing. And so far cost per click is the most effectively. I get twice as many clicks by placing my add on yahoo then I get through television. Simon Cowell said it took him 30 years to become successful. He had to learn from his mistakes. Don't be afraid to make mistakes while taking baby steps. The main way we learn is by making mistakes. Jay Z says he's learned more from failure than success. I'm not afraid to fail because I will never give up. I've learned that Ray Kroc talked to more than 100 people to try and save money for McDonalds and look where he's at now. McDonalds is the biggest fast food restaurant in the world.

Re: Time to get rich in real estate? Re: Time to get rich in real estate? - With the markets so in flux these days i would recommend taking baby steps to acquire real estate. I wouldnt take out loans I couldnt manage if something were to go wrong and I most definitely wouldnt borrow from friends or family. good luck though!
Re: What is your biggest challenge? Today? Re: What is your biggest challenge? Today? - I've been dealing with the same dilemma. The bottom line is that I have too many projects going on at once. I can only let go of a few, but I can say no to new projects. The way I manage it is by keeping an outline of my overall business plan...of where I am headed in the long-term. I take a look at each project and focus on the ones that are most important to my long-term success. The only challenge I'm having with that now, is having the patience to build my business slowly. I wish it could be all done now, but I have to get comfortable with baby steps.
Re: Why Did You Become An Entrepreneur? Re: Why Did You Become An Entrepreneur? - Hi, The main reason I became an entrepreneur is because I would rather get up each day and work on building my own dreams and empire, rather than wake up every day and go to work to build someone else’s dreams.
Re: A great Women's Industry Re: A great Women's Industry - Actually as far as "women" industries are concerned, I've noticed more specialty niches popping up for products for new mom's etc. There's a woman on Twitter who even specializes in product for aunties. Now that more baby products are popping up to help new moms - wrking moms etc - I see that as a women's industry that women can REALLY own. Adding a blog for new moms will never get old. Babies are born every day and we all know - it's easy to get pregnant (for most) but what to do when the baby comes?
Robots Robots - Perhaps its because I have a four year old that I "get to" watch these great movies. Not just once either my friends, I get them drilled into me over and over again for a month, or until another new one comes out. But I have to say Robots is one of my favourites, especially as an entreprenuer. Rodney (the main character) is brought up by a hardworking family, especially a dad that gave up his dreams to provide for his wife and child. Once a week the father and son sit down to watch the latest and greatest from 'bigweld industries' - where all the new inventions are launched. This movie is about dreams, focus, persistence, taking risks and ultimately winning. but its also about finding and surrounding yourself with people who believe in being better, doing better and following their dreams. In the end, while focussing on how he can find a need and fill it, he changes the world. Very inspiring for those sometimes dark days of entrepreneurship. Next month I tell you about my latest favourite, Meet the Robinsons! The Rainmaker
