Entrepreneurs Burnout – Bin It

Avoid burnout simply by recognising the signs; before it happens. Good advice when you know how to deal with it. Entrepreneurs sometimes are so busy 24/7 building commercial empires they forget they need to take time out and live life. One of the ways to do that is to prevent even the slightest hint of burnout. Work Life Balance Is The Key Keeping track and keeping to a working plan will prevent burnout, you’ll easily recognise any warning signs before it’s too late. You’ll be in control and able to get back into kilter with a healthy work life balance with no hint of a breakdown and possible reduction or loss of earnings. See The Picture And Avoid Any Burnout To help you get closer to a healthy work life balance I’ve written a few of the tips I’ve found useful and shared with others over the years:

1. First things first, begin your day with a gentle stretch as you wake up and offer an attitude of gratefulness for having the privilege of waking up. This is important, with gratitude life blossoms galore and amazingly more and more opportunities can just drop into your lap. So enjoy your early morning stretch before you move into your day.

2. Take a few minutes, two or three and review in your mind what you’d like to accomplish this day. Avoid too many details, just an overview of your daily goals and the actions you’ll take to get to goal.

3. Enjoy the prospect of the day ahead and live within your set boundaries. Now don’t confuse this with ‘comfort zone’. They are not the same. Boundaries is all about you saying ‘no’ or ‘yes’ to forward moving situations. Boundaries is all about your time management and sensible giving.

4. Get creative as you go about your daily business. Build our business as you create a lifestyle by design. Learn to live at the level of ‘extreme self care’. An Attitude Of Gratitude #1 This is part of the answer to your ‘why’, you are in business and have the label of entrepreneur. It’s not always a spiritual thing but it is about being nice and appreciative of what you have and the gifts and talents of what you can deploy to achieve more. Review It And Win #2 I just love this tool, I use it every day to motivate me to be more... I’d encourage you to take up this habit if you haven’t already and enjoy looking into your future every single day. Boundaries # 3 Wow, protection is good when you know you are in control and can move the goal posts. It’s not about your comfort zone, rather more about stepping out of your comfort in a safe and sensible style. Learn to use your boundaries to your advantage and you’ll win at living the life you deserve. Live Life by Design #4 Get educated on how to live life the way you really want to and build a business that reflects exactly who you are and what you offer to the world.

True they are successful but I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay that price. I'd be interested to know what's the in the typical day planner of Entrepreneurs on the Forum. Entrepreneurs are a different breed than Paid Employees- so it would be interesting to view the contrast.

It just makes me even more thankful to be part of this forum! After helping create a new charity for animals in my local community last year, I created a vision for a charity empowering Women Entrepreneurs. It won't happen for a while yet, but I know it is something I will do within the next few years. As we allow ourselves to think bigger, the opportunity to impact people becomes much bigger as well. Does anyone else have a desire to really make a difference in the world through this means?
