Embrace The Life You Deserve!

What does a life well lived, look like for you? Do you remember your dreams? Do you honour your passions? How many of us, are just going along on our daily existence, dreaming of more and doing nothing about it?

What if now is the time to do it? What if there will never be a better time? There are very few things in life that are a sure bet. What are you waiting for? Is it the fear of the unknown that is holding you back?

What is it you long to do?
• Try painting or other creative pursuits
• Go back to school
• Travel or go on sabbatical
• Change careers
• Start a family
• Launch a business
• Buy a sailboat

What is your heart’s desire? Life happens to us sometimes and we can feel beaten down and stuck. Many of us can come up with a long list of the reasons “why” it could never work. When was the last time you visited the place of possibilities? Try reworking that list with the benefits of going for it! One thing I have learned as a coach is that there are many options and ways to look at a situation. This is one of the benefits of working with a coach.

Your mind may tell you all the reasons it could never happen and how impossible it is to do what you want, trust that this is part of the process and keep moving through it. It is much like climbing a mountain or being on a long marathon. It may seem like such a huge ordeal but when we break it down and tell ourselves I will just go one more kilometer, it is so much more achievable.

When we start to change things in our life we begin to step outside our comfort zone. Understand that while change can be exhilarating and exciting it can also be terrifying. Feel the fear and do it anyway, after all it is only fear. Fear is not real it is only an illusion we create in our minds.

The only way past fear, is through it. There may be many obstacles placed on your path, just keep moving, climb over them or go around them to get to where you want to be. Create an action plan. Daily actions done consistently over time lead to extraordinary results. Very seldom does it have to be all or nothing. Keep it simple and find a way to start now. What can you do today? What can you do tomorrow?

Even if you are only spending fifteen minutes a day working on your dream, it is a start and you will feel better. The universe will see that you mean what you say and the law of attraction will begin working for you.

Embrace the life you deserve and remember………….if it is meant to be, it is up to me!

The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

So are you currently a member? And more importantly, have you tried to open a store front in that virtual world?
Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth -
People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
Re: Favorite Christmas movies Re: Favorite Christmas movies -
I do have to say I've never liked[i:1rxsgr0t] It's A Wonderful Life[/i:1rxsgr0t]. He spends all his life having his hopes and dreams shattered, feeling miserable, and its only at the end of his life that he can look back and realize how many friends he has, etc. But that doesn't change the fact that up until that point he was miserable![/quote:1rxsgr0t] I love the sentimentality around watching that movie with your Mom! Chtistmas is made up of all those sentimental things. "It's A Wonderful Life" is all about perspective, much in the same way that Scrooge is 'realigned' in Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" - which I listen to on CD every year (sometimes twice!) Happy Christmas Everyone! Regards Martin
