Taking Charge of Your Life

Take Charge of our Life! Try a life coach
Is life happening to you or are you making life happen? Many of us go through life on automatic pilot doing the same job, married to the same person, taking many things in life for granted, and we may not be living up to our full potential. Then we get downsized our job becomes redundant, our marriage breaks down, the kids grow up, we suffer a loss, we get bored or become overwhelmed with stress.

If life has happened to you, working with a life coach can get you back in the game with focus and clarity. A life coach works with a client for a period of time to get you excited about your life and moving towards you dreams. A life coach is not a therapist or a consultant. They are not there to give you advice or tell you what to do. A coach works with you to help you to remember and identify what is truly important to you. It’s about setting goals, motivating and overcoming challenges.

Most of us know what we should do but lack the motivation to get started and follow through. Many times what seems like a huge mountain to tackle can be, with the help of your coach, broken down into smaller more achievable tasks week by week.

A life coach is really in the change business. If you are looking to change some things in your life – business or personal - it’s a great place to start. Most coaches work one on one with clients but some also offer workshops and group coaching programs to give clients an introduction to the benefits of working with a coach.

The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.
Re: New Video - Should I Get A Job Or Start A Business? Re: New Video - Should I Get A Job Or Start A Business? - Hi Evan, I was curious to know what you'd suggest and I think you gave excellent advice. Taking a year out to try and start your own business is a great idea. Taking a year out after college is a well established option so I guess it doesn't prejudice your chances of getting a job should you wish to do so later on; it probably improves your chances if you've been getting valuable experience of managing a business and of course, if all goes well, you won't need to find out. Definitely a video for my website. Thanks! David
Seminar attendance Seminar attendance - I read through most of these posts and the first thought that popped into my head Andy already posted. Charge a fee to register, that will be refundable at the end of the seminar. This will ensure they show up and STAY for it.
Offer Credit instead Offer Credit instead - I'm not sure if ChrisH was referring to this but i'll state it more expicitly .. Charge upfront and offer a refund of double the value back in "Credit" towards your Product or Service you have for sale at the end of the event.

So are you currently a member? And more importantly, have you tried to open a store front in that virtual world?
