The Ultimate Reward

Written by: Eva Gregory

Article Overview: One's religious or spiritual beliefs and practices are very personal and unique to each individual. No one can force your beliefs, but there is one commonality amongst people who follow the laws of attraction -- their trust in the Universe, God, the Angels, or some "Higher Power". No matter what your individual belief, isn't it logical that something that is more powerful, spiritual, and knowledgeable than us mere humans should hold the answers to the questions that you are seeking? Questions like, where will I find my success, how can I change my path, or where will this choice lead me?

The Ultimate Reward

One's religious or spiritual beliefs and practices are very personal and unique to each individual.

Are you in touch with your spirituality for all of the decisions and situations that life tosses at you? Do you tend to separate your spiritual beliefs from you monetary wants, needs, and goals? If so, why?

Is it because of limiting beliefs that money is evil, or perhaps that asking for money is self-serving, or that wealth is a sin? In The One Minute Millionaire, Hansen and Allen point out that one of the most respected men of the bible ... Abraham ... was quite wealthy, and his wealth was a result of his loyalty.

Poverty is often associated with virtue, while it is a common belief that wealth is evil. However, it's not the money that is evil, but the negative actions that produce evil. Case in point, there are many wealthy people who do wonderful thoughtful things for others because they have a great deal of money: donations to charities, sponsorship of surgeries, and summer youth programs, to name a few. On the other hand, there are those who gain money by illegal or immoral means, use money to partake in illegal activity, or use wealth as a weapon to take advantage of those not in a position to fight back. Acquiring the wealth isn't evil.

Abundance is an important factor in the laws of attraction. When there is more than enough, lack is not allowed to enter the scene. Sharing your abundance with others is pivotal in creating more and more, for both yourself and others. Suffice it to say that your higher power would be practicing self-defeat by letting your hopes, dreams, and desires, wither away to nothing. You can't share what you don't have. This said, if you haven't been asking your "higher powers" for the answers to all of your questions, ask immediately. And if questions are being asked, and answers do not appear to be getting through, take your spiritual pulse, recognize what you are vibrating and take the steps to correct it.

After all, it is the freedom to be your own boss, to direct your own path, or to make your own choices that is the ultimate reward. And it is the "higher power" that you believe in that helps you create your reality. Just remember to ask for the answers that you are seeking, listen for the answers when they occur, and believe that you are worthy of the rewards when you stand to receive them.

Re: Bye Bye Vista Re: Bye Bye Vista -
I've been cleaning house...Finally rid myself of this atrocious operating system called Windows Vista. Eeeegads! It's good to have a nice clean computer again - all reformatted and shiny new! Windows XP has been reinstalled and Vista is in the trash can. Vista is a bomb... plain and simple. ..[/quote:3q55cgov] Where do I begin... I love Vista Ultimate on my personal laptop, but when I tried to integrate my Vista Ultimate laptop into the local area network here at work... Let's just say Vista couldn't quite take on the challenge of a network log-on and killed itself. I have since formatted Vista and vowed to keep my Vista at home, XP here at work. I have an XP desktop and I'm having an older laptop of mine reformatted into an XP Pro laptop for when I need to VPN in to work (as it turns out, Vista and my office network don't really like to VPN, as it is currently.) Vista is a lot of fun for personal use, but it's an abysmal atrocity for work use.
Good Adwords Books? Good Adwords Books? - I've just purchased "Ultimate Guide to Pay-Per-Click Advertising" by Richard Stokes. Has anyone read it, and if so what do you think? Does anyone have any other recommendations for books relating to Adwords? Thanks,
Re: Burn all your bridges inorder to succeed?? Re: Burn all your bridges inorder to succeed?? -
Some people are very self motivated, while others are lazy and need to create a sense of urgency to get themselves moving toward their goal. For instance, I was just watching a television interview on a mixed martial arts fighter who admitted to being lazy and burned all of his bridges in order to succeed. He sold all of his possessions, got in his car and left his family and friends behind to pursue his dream until he eventually made it into the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships). When you have literally nothing to go home to, it can drive a person to do great things. At times, burning all of your bridges is what it takes since "bonds" between you and others can actually be a distraction.[/quote:x11o039o] As my fraternity brothers and I said in college, "there is nothing that motivates us so much as the imminence of failure." For my personal fitness I definitely have to burn bridges; I need to be left alone for months in order to reach my fitness goals.
Getting links from the giants Getting links from the giants - Hi Kevin - it's simple - what do you have to offer them? What kind of compelling reason can you give them to link to you? According to my Google Webmaster Central Tools I have a total of 15,937 links to my site. 4,523 of them go to my homepage while the remaining 11,414 go to various pages on my site. My last sitemap indicated that I have 34,789 pages of content on my website so, excluding the homepage, I have about one link for every three pages of content. I think it’s important to also note that I don’t do any link buying and never tell people what anchor text to use when they link to me. I always suggest that they use whatever text they feel best describes the page they are linking to on my site (if everyone links to you with the same anchor text you can get penalized from Google). Having great content is one way to build links but usually you also need to take an active approach to marketing yourself. Can you build a section on your shoe site along the lines of "The Tennis Player's Ultimate Guide To Buying Shoes" where you talk about all the different considerations someone needs to make before buying shoes - and then at the end recommend Nike? In return Nike links to the site because it's a 3rd party endorsement of their products. Many big companies have News sections on their sites and always love showing off good news - you just need to find a way to give them something worth showing off!
Re: Burn all your bridges inorder to succeed?? Re: Burn all your bridges inorder to succeed?? -
I hear what you are saying, Kevin. In other words, sometimes "creating the need" is exactly what gets us moving! I think it can work when you know you are ready and you BELIEVE you can. However, I believe it's not the only route. One way is to "create a need" without having to burn the bridge. If you are working full time, you can make "small needs" which cause you to grow at the pace you want to. For example, if someone is struggling to write a book, they might arrange a spread out series of speaking engagements on the topic of the book. The time commitment requires them to get writing the speech for each date. Then they can simply translate the speech to the book. So, how can you create a "small need" in your current entrepreneurial endeavour? This is when a Coach comes in handy as you clarify what you want and create an accountability plan to help you stay true to what you want. That's why so many business people and corporations pay for Coaching. The return on investment can be quite remarkable! Have fun thinking of ideas!
