Steps to rebuilding your self-esteem

Building self esteem is key to being successful and happy in your life. Low self esteem can really hold you back from achieving what you want. Having low self esteem is when you find yourself comparing yourself unfavourably to others, always criticising yourself and your abilities, putting yourself down in front of people, feeling depressed, powerless and helpless. Start building self esteem today!

A Life Coach specialising in self-esteem and confidence building can help you to re-build your self esteem and thus your confidence. Self esteem, along with self belief, confidence, worth, and image, play a big part in helping you achieve your ideal life so it’s important to nurture them. Even some of the most successful people you know may be grappling with one or more of these factors. It might be that low self esteem has not really been a problem in the past, but over the last couple of months or years you’ve started noticing a difference in yourself and that a low self esteem has been creeping in. For example, you may be finding that tasks you have done in the past at work or the way you handle social situations have become increasing difficult to handle because of this low self esteem that you have developed.
It can be a lot of hard work to get your low self esteem turned around and back up to the high levels it should be at, and the first thing is that you have to believe that it’s possible and recognise that you won’t allow low self esteem to hold you back any longer. Here are a few top tips to getting you started on building self esteem:-
Accept yourself as you are
Start to turn around your low self-esteem by appreciating yourself. Write a list of all your best qualities and carry this list everywhere and read it on a daily basis.
Re-build your thought processes
If you find yourself thinking negative thoughts about yourself – STOP! Replace these thoughts with positive thoughts or affirmations like “I am a confident person”, “I am capable of much more”.
This is a very powerful technique to turn around low self-esteem because you’re literally talking to your subconscious where ingrained perceptions of yourself are stored.
Keep away from negative people
If you have low self-esteem try not to surround yourself with people that make you feel negative about yourself. Instead focus on confident people who inspire you. Study their words and body language and adapt these characteristics to use for yourself.
Visualise yourself as a confident person
Imagine yourself as a confident person. See yourself moving around in situations as this confident person.

Checking Stats Checking Stats - I've found the stats for my website to be helpful in seeing which pages people like, where the go on the site and what page they are on when they leave. We're rebuilding my site and its much smaller than it was, but all the main pages are there, including some new education pages for potential clients. These pages have been especially helpful since I cut back and don't have an office manager to handle the multitude of questions that come in through the day. My former manager created my site and incorporated much of the information she gave customers into the new pages. She created several pages while she was still here that she could log onto and have the client log onto and they could discuss something specific together with pictures in front of them. I know that she also tracks her other 6 sites to see how the sites are doing, which advertising is working and to decide on what new promotional tactics to use. The hosting company she uses has a cPanel that is useful and provides great up to date reports. Chris
Re: Drop out Billionaire Re: Drop out Billionaire - I reveived Bill Bartmann's DVD "9 Steps To Achieve Any Goal" as part of my monthly pack from Success University a few months back. It is a great presentation. I've watched it several times but not for a while so I'll view it again in the coming week. He is one of the greats. Like the best success mentors, he speaks with authority because he has come through much tribulation. His program sounds like a great bargain at $100 a year.

Re: Success Re: Success - I study success intently, and would like to share: Here's two excellent and nearly identical success-formulas from a couple of the world's masters. FIRST FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Clear, Definite Purpose 3. Committed Decision 4. Take Action In Faith (Bonus Secret Sauce: 5. Repeat Consistently) I made a video about this, but am not allowed to link it yet. Google "Ryze Success Steps" for it. Oh, and this is Napoleon Hill's (Master Of Success Laws)'s Formula. SECOND FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Understand It Is Already Done (Faith) 3. Relax & Allow It To Unfold (Go about your life calmly) This one is courtesy of Abraham-Hicks (inspiration for the movie The Secret). Hope that helps!
