Are You Using Your Greatest Potential?

Your greatest potential is tied to your greatest talents and desires.

Grasping this one concept could be the key to opening a huge door of unlimited possibilities and opportunities for you.

I know this sounds very simple, but how many women do you know who are actually taking advantage of this? Are you?

Unfortunately, most women are struggling under the burden of mundane tasks and activities that fail to inspire them. Of course, they have many good excuses for doing so, but it’s time for the deception to end!

The desires of your heart are not requests of a little “bless me club”; they are a motivation factor for being a highly effective professional woman, wife and mother. Your talents and desires are roadmaps that lead you down paths of personal success and well-being.

To live out your potential means to harness those desires and abilities into appropriate channels in every area of your life. You are far more productive when doing what you love to do.

Of course you need to give yourself permission to do this. Many women carry this hidden belief that they are not worth following the desires of their hearts. Where does this lie come from? The only thing it accomplishes is holding you back from being as happy and effective as you could possibly be.

Stop yourself the next time you want to push aside those things you are passionate about. It’s time to re-examine them and find out how you can use those talents and desires to reach your full potential.

I coach Business Women and Entrepreneurs because I am passionate about seeing women achieve amazing things when they fully accept their true abilities. Business gives women a great opportunity to express their passions and purpose in a way that also brings financial rewards. I believe you are highly important as the foundation of your business. As you grow and unleash your true potential, you enable your business to do the same. You also empower those you lead. I do this personally as I coach women and write articles inviting women to step into greater personal success. I also enjoy practicing my business skills on my latest adventure of opening a Cappuccino Bar and Sports Consignment Store. I believe in living fully alive and making the most of every moment. I even have my own Coach! Of course, life is always a work in progress, but I keep moving forward. I do this happily in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of B.C. with my teacher husband and two feline companions. He washed cars and had regular repeat income. Eventually he gave it to his friend, then he did the newspaper round. Then he learnt about the Internet and games. Got fed up and began to learn programming. Eventually he earnd a good income and by the time he was your age, he earned beyond 100,000 Australian Dollars. Give yourself a vote. Re: Cold Calling Re: Cold Calling - In my experience the problem with hiring cold callers is that many of the successful candidates already realize that they have a talent for sales and are already working for themselves. Most of the candidates that would take a job cold calling most likely do not have solid selling or client service skills. I used to work for a brokerage firm in Victoria and we hired co-op students to cold call. In my opinion that was a mistake. Potential clients can sense inexperience very quickly and without a seasoned cold caller on your team prospecting will be very challenging.....the key is to find someone with skills that isn't already doing there own selling....tricky. Good luck Phil
The 7 Greatest Truths about Successful Women The 7 Greatest Truths about Successful Women - Picked up a few books on my weekly trip to the library, thought I'd share their tables of contents. The 7 Greatest Truths about Successful Women: How You Can Achieve Financial Independence, Professional Freedom, and Personal Joy, by Marion Luna Brem. From the inside cover: In 1984, battling both cervical and breast cancer, and facing $500,000 in medical bills and a disintegrating marriage, Marion Luna Brem was desperate to find a way to support herself and her two young sons. With more than a few strikes against her, she started knocking on doors, looking for a job. Seventeen doors later, the blunt speaking manager of a car dealership in central TExas declared, "I've been thinking of hiring a broad." And with that invitation, Marion took her own first step on the road to financial independence, yada yada yada Today, this "broad" owns two automobile dealerships, an advertising agency, and a stake in a local bank.
