A culture of accountability is the key to business and organisational success

Look at any dictionary for a definition of accountability and you'll come across words like these:

"Having to explain"

"Defend one's actions"

"Blamable"

"Give a satisfactory reason"

Do you get the picture? Aren't these so negative?

Isn't it no wonder that people who should be accountable, shun leadership and responsibility and bury their heads in the sand instead taking the actin they really need to take.

Now what would happen if we made accountability into the kind of kind of positive concept it should be?

What would happen if we said accountability was

"The personal choice to rise above one's circumstances and demonstrate ownership necessary for achieving desired results - to see it! To own it! To solve it! To do it!

This is about developing a mindset, the attitude and the perspective to make the changes necessary.

Why not contact the Enfys Acumen to find out how you can create a new culture of accountability in your organisation or business.

Get at least 3 new paying clients for my marketing/SEO business![/quote:wkg2o5md] FYI... I posted the above goal 4 days ago and as of today it has already been accomplished! There is a lot of power in public accountability! Now I still have 25 days left in the month to absolutely crush that goal![/quote:wkg2o5md] Well done, Trent. Yes, I think you are right about the "power in public accountability".
Hiring good people Hiring good people - Thanks everyone. From the PROFIT companies the success formula seems to be: - Give employees responsibilities that make them stretch themselves - Provide them with a good work environment and happy co-workers - Invest in them by giving them training - Build projects with them to give them some ownership of the idea - Make sure they fit your company culture And almost all of them say: Hire slow, fire fast.
