Life Transitions

If there is one thing we can say definitively about life is that change is always there. Just when we seem to get comfortable, something happens that disturbs our sense of self and security. Change is the only real constant in the dynamic of life.

Moving through change and transition with ease, consciousness and grace becomes a valuable life skill. While most of the time we handle transitions in the best way possible, sometimes we get stuck and need help. Sometimes we're unclear which way to turn. Sometimes our emotions block us from moving on. Sometimes part of us wants to transit and another part wants to stay right where it's at. Sometimes we may even want to wallow in fear, pain or resentment, and at the same time, can't stand it.

Life transitions often instigate in us an uncomfortable condition of ambivalence. Ambivalence is a state of having emotions, thoughts or actions in contradiction with each other, when they are related to the same object, idea or person. It can create the stymieing sense of uncertainty or indecisiveness, even if we aren't aware that this is happening.

Imagine that it's like walking to the store. One leg goes toward the grocery store, the other leg toward the shoe store. How far will you get? How much energy will you consume in this ill-fated journey? This is what we unconsciously do to ourselves when we get stuck.

In the MindBody arena, there are many modalities for quickly moving through these challenges to a more fulfilling, happy and prosperous life. Ultimately though, they boil down to two powerful areas:

Becoming internally congruent so that all parts of your self are in agreement.

Dissolving old ties, patterns and conditioning and replacing them with new ones in your entire neurophysiology: your MindBody.

This process is very unique to each individual. In each case, we access your own deep wisdom and subconscious creativity to arrive at a place where the incongruence dissipates and clarity arises, which is the cornerstone of establishing a new intention and action for your life.

This doesn't mean letting go of fond memories, unless you want to. It doesn't mean forgetting what you've learned from the past. It doesn't mean giving up something meaningful like love or financial prosperity.

It just means having all of you going in the same, deliberate direction with the full force and power of your creative being.

The only question that remains is this:

Are you ready?

So are you currently a member? And more importantly, have you tried to open a store front in that virtual world?
Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth -
People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
Re: Favorite Christmas movies Re: Favorite Christmas movies -
I do have to say I've never liked[i:1rxsgr0t] It's A Wonderful Life[/i:1rxsgr0t]. He spends all his life having his hopes and dreams shattered, feeling miserable, and its only at the end of his life that he can look back and realize how many friends he has, etc. But that doesn't change the fact that up until that point he was miserable![/quote:1rxsgr0t] I love the sentimentality around watching that movie with your Mom! Chtistmas is made up of all those sentimental things. "It's A Wonderful Life" is all about perspective, much in the same way that Scrooge is 'realigned' in Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" - which I listen to on CD every year (sometimes twice!) Happy Christmas Everyone! Regards Martin
