Writing Your Own Script

"We write our own script, then we direct and star in our own play."

Harold Klemp

This quote really caught my attention when I was listening to one of Harold Klemp's talks given at an Eckankar Worldwide Seminar this year.

Powerful for me. I reflected on my life to date and pondered if I could have written the script or not. hmm good question.

I am having so much fun with this screenwriting course I am taking. Inventing characters and scenes, changing them around, writing and rewriting. My imagination is getting an opportunity to go wild!

On reflection, most of the characters are based on my life experiences. Yes,I am exaggerating the characters and the scenarios but I am drawing on real life experiences to do that.

Although many of the events in my life have been a surprise from a detail perspective and how they manifested, I realize that nothing has happened that I had not already first imagined. Yes, I have created it! How exciting!

How’s your script coming along? Are you a superhero, a victim, a clown, a drama queen, a success, a great parent, aunty, uncle, friend, lover? How many roles are you playing? Do you like playing them? What would you like to change?

Oh my God, I’d better get busy now and work on creating the next scenes of my life, gotta go……

Re: How can I promote my site? Re: How can I promote my site? - Hi Sarah Writing articles that are in line with your website business is one way. If you have spare cash and a bit of knowledge you could use PPC advertising or find blogs in your niche and offer to write an article for them to publish on their blog with links back to your site. These are just a couple of ideas, I am sure that others will have a lot more for you. MichelleJ
