BALANCED SUCCESS

BALANCED SUCCESS

We should try to maintain balance and peace in our lives. There is no point in being great at something - at the sacrifice of every thing else. One of the major problems that arises when we work to become more effective is that we do not think broadly enough. We lose the sense of proportion, and forget the balance necessary for effective living. Quite often we concentrate on work and forget health. For the sake of success in the labour market, be it in business, or as professionals, we neglect the most precious relationships in our lives.

Life or Personal Coaching is not about encouraging ruthless ambition and how to get what you want. It is actually concerned with ultimate fulfilment, what can lead you to ultimate success. There are many casualties in the world, people who have attained success, by focusing too narrowly on a single goal and then felt their lives to be empty. You don’t have to step on toes to win a race. “There is no real excellence in this entire world, which can be separated from right living. (David S. Jordan)

We have a number of different roles in our lives or responsibilities, which we are expected to fulfil. You have a role as an individual, so your Personal Development is crucial. You are also a father or son, mother or daughter, husband or wife, brother or sister, uncle or nephew etc. You might have a role if you contribute to or serve your community or society, or your place of worship. Each of these roles is important and requires some investment of your time and energy.

In our modern society, we can often rate our selves and other people’s worth purely in terms of wealth and or career success. There are many people who lead worthwhile and fulfilling lives but have not accumulated wealth and cannot be called rich. Just because you have not succeeded in being richer than the people you know, or attaining all your ambitions at work, does not mean your life has been a failure.
To attain Balanced Success, please set a number of goals based on your different roles. It will also raise your awareness about your roles and goals.

Re: Clarity Trumps Persuasion Re: Clarity Trumps Persuasion - Jeff, Thanks, great stuff !!! Clarity or "KEEP IT SIMPLE" is probably the best advice anyone can ever give or get when involved in any business or personal situation. Over 30 years of manufacturing ladies apparel has taught me two critical business lessons: 1-You will never get a 100% perfect outcome so In the BEGINNING,take your time, exhaust all your resources and energy and plan, plan, plan. . . If it STARTS off right it you'll get close to the desired outcome. 2-Keep it simple I now will add "Clarity" to my formula for success. CLARITY AND KEEPING IT SIMPLE BREEDS SUCCESS . . . . I know the advice above is simple but isn't that what it's all about. Thanks Ringo, This information not only was great for my website but it reminded me that "keeping it simple and clear" got me and my teams through some wicked situations Best wishes Barry
