REDUCING STRESS--- NATURE
Scientists at the University of Glasgow recently found that using parks and playing fields for walks and other activities lowers blood pressure and cuts the harmful effects of stress
Getting in touch with nature is a great strategy for relaxation. Modern life is inuring us to the comforts of life and we are forgetting how to reach the wide open spaces, the woods and the beaches. Nature is quite beautiful to the eye. Nature’s gifts abound, being one with nature can influence your mood for the better. If you are feeling low, go for a leisurely walk in the fresh air. As you are walking appreciate the beauty created by nature, the shape of the trees, their height, the colour, shape and texture of the leaves. If you are living in the city, your local park could help you to reconnect with nature. Whilst there, you can examine the various species of plants. Some councils spend large amounts of money on improving and maintaining their parks.
