THE WAY WE SEE THE PROBLEM IS THE PROBLEM

Some of us panic because of the problem facing us. May be you experience such problems too? Ask yourself: “Do you focus on the result when faced with a problem or do you get too tied in the emotions to have clarity?” Worrying and the ensuing panic, upset or anger reduces our capacity to deal with the problem. We worry about the problem, and then worry about the solutions we come up with. We doubt whether the solutions will work or not. The worriers concentrate on their worries, rather than on identifying the problem and then defining it. The emotional people focus on their anger or fear. They have difficulty in thinking of different solutions to the problem, and then even if they manage to generate some solutions, they will not go the next stage which is to put the sensible solutions into practice. A Coach could support you to solve your problems if you are the worrying type.
Some successful people do not worry about the ‘why’ it is happening and ‘how’ it is happening questions, their distinctiveness lies in putting why-s and how-s together. They do not get burned out by the concept of ‘problems’, their actions are powered by the ‘concept’ of ‘opportunities.’

So if you are overwhelmed by a ‘problem’, ask your self if your approach is upbeat and rational or depressing and unreasonable. The way we see the problem is the problem.
