Action creates Results

Put very simply by John Onberg,

“If you want to walk on water, you've

got to get out of the boat.”

“Be aggressive in helping others.

Don't wait to feel like it.

Don't wait for some supernatural sign

that God wants to use you.

Just get started”. Quote from Joyce

Meyer in her book, Approval Addiction.

Start now, get going, stop talking about it.

Today I want to focus on action. You

wondering why things are not happening,

perhaps it because you are not moving –

take some action today.

Let's explore the word action though

an acrostic and see that we can find.

ACTION

A – Attitude

You have a choice. You can wake up

and believe it is a great day, that you are

going to do well, that you are ready to take

on all that comes at you, that you are good.

Or you you can wake up and start the day

whining, moaning and miserable . Simple

put, you choose. If you want action, then

you need the right attitude to start.

C – Commitment

I have always been told, if you are going

to do something, then do it very well.

That is commitment. Action requires that

you do it and that you do it very well.

John Hancock has the largest signature

on the Declaration of Independence, the

first one you see, that is commitment. How

about you, do you stand out in your

commitment to what you are doing, or is

it just another task? Hancock put his life

on the line signing so large, so all could see

very clearly that he was in.

T – Tenacity

Holding fast to what you are doing.

Perseverance and persistence. Just keep

on going. Remember that the great Walt

Disney was rejected by 301 banks before

he got his financing. And you are

complaining because one bank turned

you down? Bush harder. Keep you eye

on the target. Do not give up, ever.

I – Integrity

The lost art of living and telling the truth.

There are absolutes, no matter what they

try and teach you today.

Right is right and wrong is wrong. It is

that simply and that straight.

The hard thing about it, you cannot teach

it, you either have integrity or you don't.

How you doing?

Walk the walk.

O – Ownership

“They”, must have done something to stop it.

“They”, must have put that there.

“They”, must have?

Forget it, there is no “they”. You take

responsibility and ownership in order to

achieve action and get moving forward.

I hear to much about “they”, yet I have

never yet meet them. Have you?

Take ownership of all you do.

N – No

You need to know when to say “No”

and when to say “Yes”.

We get into so much trouble and inaction,

because with don't say “no” to the things

that keep us from doing the things we need

to be doing.

Say “no” as soon as you know it is “no”.

Do not keep people hanging

They maybe disappointed but better now

than later.

If you learn to say no to the things you

should not do, then you can say yes and

take action on the things you should be doing.

And that is it, plain and simple. Very

straight forward.

You can do it.

If you do it, the action will happen.

Now, go out today with the right attitude,

a hard commitment, total tenacity, integrity.

Take total ownership of what you need to do.

And learn when to say “Yes” and

when to say “No”.

Action creates results.

Re: Blog sells for up to $15 million Re: Blog sells for up to $15 million - Action speaks louder than dream. What are we doing about GT suggestion? We can make this work in 2010
Advertisement that sales Advertisement that sales - Plan your marketing programme. It should include commitment to capital resources. If you run a small business, you aren't likely to have a generous enough advertising budget that will allow you to run costly branding or campaign ads. Every advertisement you run must convey to your prospect a solid offer and attractive reasons to act quickly, and result in increased sales and an enhanced image of your company. Good advertising always pays its own way through increased sales and profits, improved cost-effectiveness, reduced selling costs and shortened selling cycles. A useful formula that will help you increase the effectiveness of your advertising efforts is A-I-D-A, which stands for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. When creating an advertisement, always remind yourself that it should: (1) capture your prospects' Attention, (2) arouse their Interest in your offer, (3) create their Desire for your product or service, and (4) provide a powerful spur to Action, that is, turn your prospect into buyers. Remember, bad advertising is an unproductive expense, and good advertising is an investment in future profits!
Global Moderators Global Moderators - I've wanted to suggest this for a long time (pretty much ever since I became a moderator here) but I never seem to remember when I am actually here. It was on my mind just now so I decided to come post it before I forget again. Every forum I currently moderate or have ever moderated (other than this one) doesn't limit the moderators to certain sections like we do here. They have global moderators, which basically means every moderator has moderating powers in all (or almost all) sections of the forum. In my opinion, it is much better to do it that way. Currently only GT and Evan can moderate every section. The rest of us only have one section each. And really only GT does the global moderating because Evan is too busy with other stuff. That creates a problem when GT is not around. Spam often gets left for many hours and sometimes even days at a time. Plus it creates a lot more work for GT when he is here. Yes, he is usually pretty quick about getting to them but he shouldn't have to be the only one doing it. What happens when he gets sick? Or goes on vacation? Or is too busy to come here on certain days? Or just takes a break for a few days? I almost always report several spam posts every day then have to wait an unknown amount of time before GT gets to deleting them. But it would be a lot easier and better for the forum if mods could just delete them as soon as we see them. I'm also a member of a TON of forums that I don't moderate and it seems as though almost all of them do it the way I am suggesting. This is one of the few that only gives mods power over one section. Any thoughts?
Re: Does Your Website Make these 7 Mistakes? Re: Does Your Website Make these 7 Mistakes? - Hi there, I really enjoy reading the content of this post. I think one mistake could be that it is not easy to navigate. If it is difficult to navigate, it creates frustration and soon leaves the website.
Re: Watch What you Read Re: Watch What you Read - I agree. i believe more video's should be like Jeffery Gitomers video's under his Sales rant. They are typically not more than 3 minutes. His model seems to be; 1. Main Message (or Point) 2. Example 3. Next steps to put it into Action take away the extra "blabber" and you've got viewers that will come back.
