The Final Ingredient in Success is - Sharing

Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, has more money than anyone in the world,

but he's also giving away more money than anyone. FORTUNE EXCLUSIVE: The world's second richest man - who's now worth

$44 billion - tells editor-at-large Carol Loomis he will start giving away 85%

of his wealth in July - most of it to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Current and former senior executives are spending time helping inner city

entrepreneurs to build effective and successful business ventures.

Today we are going to talk about the final "S" in the word success - sharing.

We have talked about being serious.

We have talked about understanding the process.

We have talked about the vision and creating it.

We have talked about the plan and creating it and executing it and last

week we talked about stretchability.

So today we come down to the final "S' which is sharing.

Sharing your success.

Sharing what you learned.

Sharing your abilities.

Sharing your money.

Sharing your time.

And just plain sharing what you have with others.

The above examples are the extreme cases, the ones that get all the print.

But we all know of many cases where people are sharing time and money with

others.

There are many people out there who obtain great success and still feel

something is missing.

Why do you think Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have given so much money

away?

Why are business people giving time, effort and energy to other.

Simply put, because that makes it complete. Sharing with others makes it

so much better.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken

together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure

you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38

Because the real success comes from our ability to share what we have,

what we have done, what we have accomplished with others and create

success in the lives of others.

Sharing really goes back to the Biblical teaching of the tithing of 10%.

Giving the first 10 percent of all you gain to God.

If you think about it, that is what makes it happen. Sharing is what makes

it so complete

So if you are not sharing you need to think about it.

If you are saying, "you know I have done everything I wanted to, I have

been very successful,

I'm doing all these things but I still feel there is a piece missing."

Then go out and give something away today.

And remember, it is not just money we can give.

Many times that is the easy thing to give.

It is time that is really hard to give.

Go out this week and give some of your time to another.

Which is more valuable to you, time or money?

Usually the one you have the least of.

I have seen many people who are more than willing to give away money,

but guard their time very closely.

So whatever you hold most dear, share it with others.

And watch, watch what happens.

We don't share because it makes us more prosperous

we are more prosperous because we share.

A great distinction you need to understand.

Again:

We don't share to make ourselves more prosperous

we are more prosperous because we share.

Go out and complete the success factor this week.
