Competition or Cooperation?

Written by: Marcie Hunt

Article Overview: Today I want to address one of the fundamental keys of the Law of Attraction that is little known by many business owners and entrepreneurs. In the United States, Americans are taught early on that competition is healthy and that it's always best to "be number one." However when using the Law of Attraction, we find that like energy attracts like energy. This means that every time we think about competing, or what our competitors are doing, or how can I out-sell my competitors- WE ARE ACTUALLY ATTRACTING MORE COMPETITION TO US.

Competition or Cooperation?

I once asked a close friend who participates in marathons all over the world, "Do you think about competing with other people in the race?"

She responded that she is only competing with herself. Her goal is to be her very best, and most of all to have fun in the process! Every time she begins a race, she mentally states how grateful she is for everything she is and has and does in her life currently.

Remember, these practices are important in order to attract what you truly desire-to be happy and prosperous!

If you are in a business where you are providing proposals to other companies, and similar companies are also offering proposals, here's how you can switch to an "attractor" mode. And if you are in any business where you are offering similar services or products in the marketplace, the following is important for you as well.

1. Focus only on what you and your company have to offer. Focus on how to make the product or service better. Think out of the box and let your intuition provide you with new ways to make the greatest product or service you possibly can.

2. If you are not in a company position that enables you to do this, then find something you can add on to make the product magnetic to your clients.

Maybe there is a bonus of some kind, or a unique idea that catapults what you are selling into a very attractive space.

3. When you are in a meeting, or in the presence of other companies who are making their proposals, only focus on the end results you desire. How do you see the results if the contract is won? What do you feel? Do you feel elated, energized, free, confident and peaceful? Expect it, visualize it, feel it! Do this before you head into the meeting.

4. Let go of being attached to specific results. This doesn't mean that you cancel out what you did in step three. It means that you are willing to let the Universe step in and put the people, situations and opportunities on your path.

Stop trying to figure out HOW to get there. When you take forced action, then you are actually in a fearful energy. You don't have to control everything. In fact trying to control everything and how it is going to manifest will actually put you on hold with your results!

Let things come to you, and then act. The steps will be obvious and you'll know what to do when the time comes. Have faith and trust that your intentions are already realized. Watch and be aware of everything around you. A small step can lead to something bigger.

Act out of inspiration, not out of fear or control.

Letting go of being attached to the outcome also means that you use the words "What If" in a positive way. Instead of saying-what if this doesn't work? What if my competition beats me out, what if I fail? what if, what if?

Use high-energy words: What if we receive the business? What if they think our product is great? What if the decision makers just love us? What if we find our bank accounts bursting with money?

Finally, realize that even if this particular deal or agreement does not go through, that another one, even better will appear.

The more you are consistent in this process, the more consistent your success and prosperity will be. In other words, as you maintain trust and faith, you'll create a continual flow of good things and abundance coming into your life.

5. Think about how you can better serve your clients. Yes, customer service has always been at the forefront of the best businesses. Even if two products or services are exactly the same, the one that caters to providing the highest service to customers will always attract new business and retain loyal customers.

The more that you truly work from the heart, the greater satisfaction you will experience personally. If you are an entrepreneur, have a small business, or are a coach, for example, you know that the joy of serving others through your unique talents enables you to feel inspired.

Serving does not mean sacrifice. We can serve others through a place of joy, creativity and beneift for everyone involved.

Thinking about how to help others succeed, or to benefit them immensely through your services or products, creates the greatest results and the highest attraction energy possible.

I know that when a client recounts a success story about how his or her life has changed through our coaching or Law of Attraction Programs-I am thrilled! I am just as excited and happy as the other person is to be creating what they want in life.

Next week we'll talk about the art of cooperation, and how it can amplify your energy to attract more prosperity. Create powerful business results through effective strategies that embrace cooperation.

Until then focus on what you do best, expand it, visualize and feel the results, and work from the heart to help your clients become as successful as you are.

Re: Congratultations to GT! Re: Congratultations to GT! - Hi GT, Competition is great and i know I wouldn't be here without it, but it is not the main reason for posting and participating. But I admit, it is the trigger I need to get some work done. If there is none, i create one for myself and try to make it. First prize is ice cream.
Re: Is Google Search getting better or worse? Re: Is Google Search getting better or worse? - Competition and that too stiff is something I have always loved and being a true web user I hate spammers the same way and so I am very happy with the recent changes that Google has made and so I must say that it is getting better. I am happy because now we could be able to get and read fresh and unique content instead of the repetitive ones. Now the value of actual SEO will be seen as results now will be completely depend on the hard work SEO and strategies an internet marketing company will apply to get on top of search giant's ranking. surfing the web daily as addiction I have seen most of the webmasters asking several questions related to real time search and how they should commence now to get better and faster results, found lots of useful information and learned new strategies too.
Re: Help needed! Re: Help needed! - [quote="jeema":1rpkpkod]Hi, I’m a newly single mother who stays at home looking after my son. I have been writing for a long-long time but never thought to do something serious with it. I would like to try freelance copywriting, but don't know the first thing about it. How can I get started? Can anyone help me? I love writing and I could really-really use the extra cash- raising a young child alone really hits the wallet pocket. I appreciate any replies, and hope that I may be able to help in return sometime soon. Thank you very much.[/quote:1rpkpkod] Hi, Jeema It's easier than ever for writers (non-fiction writers, anyway!) to get work these days, via such sites as elance.com (they are who I do work for.) There are plenty of freelance sites on the web, where prospective customers post what they need, and prospective workers "bid" on the jobs, and then the customer chooses which writer he wants to do the work. There's lots of competition, but the wheat soon separates from the chaff and if you can write well, you can usually find steady employment. Competition drives down the price that you're able to charge, however, unless you have niche expertise such as technical or legal writing. PM me for some free advice, if you'd like!
