Creating Synergy With Others

For fourteen years, I lived and worked in Europe as a top model, appearing on close to one hundred fashion magazine covers. I was used to working independently, and always had an agent to help me connect with clients, photographers, and fashion designers.

After several years of studies and certification in the Silva Mind Methodology, I created the Power Your Life Method. I used this method to find my soul mate/husband, and also to find my life purpose.

Returning to California, I spent a great amount of time creating and building the consulting and coaching business on my own. Looking back, I realize that I poured out an immense amount of energy to achieve results-often through shear willpower! Now there’s nothing wrong with having a strong will. However, it really isn’t necessary. Have you ever tried to push or force an issue or a project, only to find that you feel drained of energy?

Once you are in tune with your life purpose, or any deeper intention, you can spend less energy to “push.” As you allow more energy to create synergy with others, you enjoy a sense of ease in the process- as well as increased results. Your power expands, and the people you work with enjoy the same empowerment as well!

When I returned to California, I came in contact with all sorts of interesting people as I began to present seminars. Certain people I connected with once or sometimes several times. Our paths crossed temporarily. Yet there were important ideas, feelings or guidance that were communicated between us. There was a dynamic and supportive energy that propelled each of us to move forward on our paths.

Another more intimate group has also evolved. There is a small core group of people with whom I exchange ideas, plans, innovations and inspiration. Each person has gifts that are compatible with and helpful for other people in the group.

I would like to share with you a couple of principles and benefits in creating synergy with others. First, by opening up to, and being aware of people and events during your day, you tune in to a fundamental spiritual truth that takes place.

Every person and every situation on our path has meaning.

You can take steps toward progress as you notice even seemingly insignificant things that are often linked to realizing dreams. The Universe offers continual situations and people to guide you on your path of spiritual growth and life changes. By creating what I call a “receiving” energy, you facilitate desired change by co-creating with Universal Intelligence. The trick is to act upon the opportunities and ways to serve others, as situations and people show up in your daily life.

Second, once you begin to open your heart to whatever projects, work or support you choose to be involved in, you will be amazed at the results! You’ll receive new ideas, perspectives, plans and loving support that you can share with others.

Third, as you share these experiences, your energy level and your desire to take action will soar!

Bill, a client, works with a company where he is selling to customers by phone. He only has a certain amount of time to spend with each person, and is expected to cut the conversation short and go on to the next potential customer. Rather than focusing on how to “sell” the company services to the customer, Bill and I decided to take another approach. I suggested he focus on how he could serve others and key in on their needs.

He began by asking them how he could help them, and only later discussed the benefits they might receive. Soon, Bill was creating better relationships with people he contacted by phone. He was able to build mutual respect, trust and caring. Bill began to feel satisfied with his new approach. His sales have significantly increased. He is able to work with ease, finding his energy level higher. He has also regained a positive attitude.

Whether you have your own business or are working in a company, you can apply the previous actions to build greater synergy than you are experiencing now.

By asking how you can serve, you offer your love, support and unique talents to others through your affirmation. Dynamic affirmations are positive statements of your intentions. Rather than asking what you can get back, you ask what you can give. In doing so, the appropriate people are drawn to you, such as new clients, a friend who needs your help, or a book that inspires you to learn new skills, for example.

Enjoy the ease and flow that building synergy with others offers on an even greater scale.
