Are you choosing Faith or Fear
by letting go of our idea of how things should be, we allow more amazing situations and outcomes to come into place, far superior than we ever dreamed of!
One of the important aspects of surrender is to have Faith that all is well and everything is working out as it should be. Remember, the universe works at it’s own pace and everything does work out in perfect timing and sequence, even if it does not feel like it at the time!
At every moment of the day, especially when things get tough, each of us is confronted with an important choice. Will we choose Fear to guide our life or will we choose to be guided out of Faith. Fear is a natural emotion that informs us about potential danger and it warns us to protect ourselves and take care. However, there comes a time when fear ceases to be beneficial to us, especially when we have done all we can possible do about a situation and the outcome is clearly out of our hands. In these situations, it is time to surrender and have Faith that all will be ok!
There is a solution to every problem!!! However we often choose FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) over Faith and convince our selves that the worse will happen if we let go and just see what happens. You will not be able to see the solution if you are already convinced that it is not there. So you must choose FAITH, over FEAR.
Surrendering to Faith takes courage but gives us access to realities we would never dream about! When we choose faith, we are making a choice to be divinely guided and trust that we are being taken care of. Faith gives us the ability to look beyond our immediate circumstances and imagine new situations in the future.
Franklin D Roosevelt once stated ‘The Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself!"
Healing Action Steps:
• A useful mantra or affirmation to use when ever you start to worry or fear fearful is to repeat to yourself ‘ I am safe and everything is working out perfectly for me’. Try this the next time to start to worry about the future. What you need to do is to reach out your hand to the universe and allow it to lead you on your journey…having faith that the universe has a much better plan in mind for you. Whatever you are going through now is part of the bigger plan and everything will fall into place.
• Identify an area in your life where you are feeling stuck due to being in Fear. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and ask yourself ‘ What is my fear trying to tell me? What would this fear like me to do in order to look after myself?
• Next, look at the different areas in your life and see if you can identify any area which would benefit from some more Faith. Would it help to ask for what you want? Do you have enough Faith to take a risk which may improve your situation? Identify two actions you could take which would help you build up your Faith. If you are still not sure, go inside and ask yourself what actions you could take.
