My simple guide to creating an Extraordinary Life

It is easy to get stuck in routines, in jobs we don’t like and to focus on all those things that don’t work they way we would like them to. It is easy to hide in our comfort zones, close the doors and pull the curtains. But there is also another way to engage with life, a way that is a lot more satisfying in the long run. Here a few simple tips to help you create a more extraordinary life.

1. First and most importantly, if you don’t love what you do in life or business, change how you do it, or develop a plan to get out completely. There’s almost no chance that you can have an extraordinary life if you hate what you do, who you do it for or who you do it with.

2. Lose all friends who are energy-sucking, negative, manipulative or self-absorbed and spend more of your time with positive, intelligent people of good will.

3. Commit to never lying intentionally.

4. Always consider first the result you want to create and then start mapping out the steps of how to get there – and keep in mind that Imagination is more important then knowledge.

5. Establish some routines that help you relax - Listen to your favorite music, treat yourself to a massage, invite friends for coffee and cakes, plan a candle light dinner, arrange mini breaks for yourself and your loved ones (a week end trip, a show, a movie, a bowling night….)

6. Give… volunteer… practice random acts of kindness. Get involved in projects you feel strongly about… or just open a door for someone.

7. Read books and watch movies that inspire you.

8. Say ‘thank you’ out loud for at least 3 things every day.

9. ____ Add your own idea for creating a more extraordinary life

Simple, do-able thoughts on how to create a more extraordinary life, whatever your budget might be. What will you do, starting this week to become more awake, open the doors and draw back the curtains?

With my best wishes for your success,

Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth - [quote="Tami Szabo":292ze3jd]People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
