Is Your “Altitude” Determined By Your Attitude?

Are you currently where you want to be in life? Do you have control over your life?

Are you getting what you want out of life?

Are you winning, (or losing)?

If you can not answer "YES" to any of the four questions above then perhaps you need to take a good look in the eyes of the reflection in the mirror (yes, I mean you!)

I will bet the problem is your attitude. Not just for today, but for tomorrow and the next day, and so on. It all comes down to what I call the "attitude of your mind". The attitude of your mind affects many things including the expressions of your face and impacts your internal and external physical health - it controls and regulates your entire being.

And there's more. Your attitude determines and fuels your actions. You must realize that every action you take, no matter how big or how small, defines everything that you achieve in life. If you want to lead a great life, you have to take great actions.

Asyou prepare yourself to take great actions and steps toward what you want everyday, you must begin to conditionyour self to always having andmaintaining agreat attitude.

Think how much better you would be at everything you do, if you had a great attitude toward life. For example, if you practiced being respectful to others, no matter how they treat you, you become more respected.

If you practiced looking for the good in others, you would begin to attract more of the good in others. If you practiced smiling more often, you will see more people smiling back at you.

Anything you do repeatedly becomes a habit - either good or bad. There are some people that have conditioned themselves to be cynical and negative. They always question things and doubt things will work as planned. They tend to be very pessimistic and would be considered a naysayer.

At this point many of you, especially those who have painstakingly built your life around negative habits like those above may ask: "How can I change the attitude of my mind? How can I, after months and years of discouragement and of going through the motions, suddenly conceive and carry out a plan for doing something that will change my current situation and make my life more rewarding?"

The answer is that it can be done, and others just like you have done it.

Even if you consider yourself of AVERAGE ability, you can be successful, independent, free of worry, and be your own master, from this point forward, if you can commit to do these things.

Instead of negativity, which is a reflection on your self, what if you tried these attitude adjustments? Imagine that every time you got out of bed to face the day, you said "YES" with an eager and enthusiastic attitude. Every time you met someone you looked for the good in them. What if you spent more time thinking about what you do want, rather than what you don't want?

You must condition your attitude everyday for making it a great day. By doing this, you'll soon developgreat habits that will have a positive impact on both your personal and professional life.

Re: What to do at the first roadblock? Re: What to do at the first roadblock? - Upon first discouragement, dig in and see if things are as they seem. Sometimes, even though there are several products out there that appear comparable, they are no match. Maybe they do don't a good job of what they are intended for, or maybe there are several glitches in their system, or perhaps their customer service just plain stinks. Decide how you can "one up" all of these things and decide that you are going to create a better product that more people would want. Attitude is 95% of the battle. If you feel defeated before you've done any research on any of the other products, you're doing yourself a huge disservice. Give yourself a chance and see if you can be the BEST in every way. This will get you far no matter what the venture.
Re: Who hates cold calling? Re: Who hates cold calling? - About 15 years ago I worked for this sales company that used to sell anything from Kitchen Knives to Dry Cell Torches. The owner was a very motivating guy and he would ask us to get to the office by 7.00AM and we could sing and dance for an hour before we went to sell the products in the streets, stopping anyone and telling them our products were on discount. We used to sell snow to Eskimos, why were we able to do that? because of PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). The key to cold calling is like beauty, in eyes of the beholder. If you have no PMA, you cannot sell. Remember the law of average that states that if you went to a dance and every girl or guy you approached for a dance decline your proposal. What do you do? Do you stop? If you have a PMA, you continue until you get one person who agree to dance with you despite how ugly you look, that is is PMA and that is the power of cold calling.
