Practice Through Mental Dress Rehersal

To perform at the highest level we must practice mentally as well as physically. The human mind cannot distinguish reality from what we repeatedly imagine. The more vivid we are with our imagination, the more likely we are to see it materialize.

TIPS FOR BUILDING INSTANT RAPPORT

Rapport is the vital ingredient for your success in any endeavor. Unfortunately, most people don’t make rapport building a high priority. Fortunately, there are ten simple steps that will help you gain instant rapport in any situation and connect with any audience.

10 ELEMENTS OF SUCCESSFUL LEADERS

The world is looking for strong visionary leaders. Will you be one of them? You are not born a leader or appointed a leader; leadership is developed. To get there means stepping up to the next level. And leading at the next level involves these key elements:

Proceed and Succeed

We all face disappointments and setbacks. Everyone has times in their life where they ask themselves such questions as “is it all worthwhile,” “am I really on the right path” and “if so, why is it so hard?” These are not ordinary moments … these are your destiny-defining moments.

Leadership is a Choice

A person’s position or title has very little to do with leading others. You can grant someone a title but you can’t grant them the ability to lead. Our beliefs, attitudes, state of mind and consistent actions determine our ability to lead. These are all choices we make

Do You have a favorite F word ?

I recently sent a Tweet out on Twitter where I made a statement that said: "There are 7 F's that I am thankful for: 1) Faith; 2) Family; 3) Friends; 4) Fun; 5) Food; 6) Fellowship; 7) Freedom" Then I said, "What 'F' are you thankful for?" I was absolutely amazed at the amount of responses I received back. Here are a few that I want to share with you.

The Secret To Living

I've always heard that "The Secret to Living is Giving." Most importantly, I always believed that you should give back some of what you earn to others that need your help. But let's take it a little further. You can give more than just money especially if don't have much during these challenging economic times. You can give a prayer to the most needy in our society, give your time and attention to an organization that needs your leadership, and you can share your knowledge and wisdom with those that need your guidance.

Readt Set Grow ... Your 2010 Plan

Ready Set GROW... That's right GROW! Do you have a personal growth plan for 2010? As we begin the New Year, it's imperative that you know where you want to go in life and that you have a plan to achieve it. College Football Hall of Fame Coach, Lou Holtz, says, "To succeed, you've got to have a vision and a plan." Did you know that most people spend more time planning their family vacation than planning their life? How about you? Have you ever outlined all the goals and achievements you would like to accomplish in the next year or five years? Are you crystal clear on the one target you would like to hit in your lifetime? Have you ever taken the time to set your goals and create a plan to make them a reality?

Choose Not to Participate

Success is a choice, you can choose what you read, what you listen to, who you hang around with, and how hard you work. Zig Ziglar says "You are free to choose, but the choices you make today will determine what you will have, be and do in the tomorrows of your life." It is choice, not chance, that determines your destiny. Are you participating or are you choosing not to participate?

What's Your Favorite "F" word ?

Interesting replies I received from a Tweet on Twitter concerning thankfulness. This is an article you'll really enjoy.
