The Key to Life is YOU. Are You Participating?
amazing dreams in becoming a fireman, policeman, doctor, nurse, veterinarian,
ballerina, or even an astronaut. Nothing fazes us in utilizing our
imagination, putting on costumes and acting everything out, as if it were
really taking place. We are all so free, fearless and adventurous, putting
our best foot forward without a care in the world or worrying what others
think of us or if we were doing it all wrong. After all, as children we don't
know anything about the true responsibilities that are really going on or
what obstacles our parents are dealing with each and every day. We haven't
a worry in the world, other than participating and being the KEY to our
lives, while living the present moment to the fullest, which brings us all
tremendous happiness.
Later, when we get older and go off to college, we set our minds on majoring
in what we want to be in our lives. However, how many of us fulfill this dream
and get our degrees? How many of us change our major or take a different
career path, once we find out how much hard work it would take to make this
become a reality? And how many of us decide to give up because of life's pressures
and stresses?
The thing about life is that it's truly all about the choices we make. For
each choice puts us on a certain path from which to learn and grow. By
being awake and truly participating in our lives, we can then make the right
choices that will keep us moving forward in accomplishing our goals without
giving up on them. If you want a successful relationship you must learn
from your past so you don't make the same mistakes as before and communicate
and care more than you did. If you want to be healthy and fit, you
must set your intentions in making the right choices on what you eat and how
you work out for your entire life, not just for a short period of time and
then stop. If you want to move up the corporate ladder, you must do the
work that will get you there and constantly show your true value. If you
want to become a famous actress or musician, you have to keep learning and
perfecting your trade, while never giving up or taking "no" for an answer.
If you want to be a happier person, you have to let go of the things that
aren't working for you and recognize what brings you joy and make them a
priority.
Each of us possess true greatness, everyone! If you have faith in yourself
and believe in yourself, then the only person that can truly stop you from
accomplishing any goal you set forth, is you. If you decide to make a
choice in allowing fear, self-doubt, or negativity get in your way, then
only you are making this clear decision. If you listen to others and allow
them to make the choice for you because you feel pressured, remember that
you are making the final decision. It's true that along the way you might
get a little lost or even feel stuck, but all you have to do is take a deep
breath in, remain calm, let go of your ego and pride and ask for some
guidance when you don't have all the answers. By participating in your life
and utilizing your greatest assets that you possess inside, only then will
you be the KEY to every possibility that comes your way and another step
closer to accomplishing your goals, wishes and dreams.
