Stop the madness

Stop the madness

Hi there, I'm David Oliver of Love Work Live Life

My wife loves shopping and she knows how to save and spend what she has. But I hate shopping and one of the reasons that I hate shopping is that I am deeply afraid - afraid that the madness will get me. What madness? Debt madness.

I run from every possibility of catching it because when it comes to money I'm not very good at saving. I get easily seduced into the big spend, so to avoid that problem, it's better not to go near the shops!

In our current shopping culture, spending what we don't yet have in bank loans or on credit cards, brings moments of short-lived, angst-tinged, pleasure, but leaves months or years of remorseless stress and anxiety as we try to pay off those debts.

Debt and lifestyle madness is based around the delusion that buying brings meaning and happiness and therefore debt is worthwhile. Often we only find out too late that joy cannot be found in things. It's found in relationships - with friends, with family, and with God.

Debt needs a remedy. It's time to stand up and say No!

'No!' to the marketing deceit and delusion.

'No!' to the remorseless pressure to have the next big thing and

'No!' to working punishing schedules

No to the remorseless pressure to have the latest fashion , car, clothes sports gear, the designer furniture. It is madness that tries to fill an insatiable black hole. It's debilitating madness to fill a lifestyle we often haven't got time or energy to enjoy,'. Let's say No to debt of consumer items and no to any debt we can't manage. Single folks today, Husbands wives, single mums and dads - before today is out maybe it would help us to choose to say no to debt & lifestyle madness and tell someone else that you have made that choice.

And if you are in debt - don't face it alone. Get help and start on the journey to financial freedom.

Re: New Idea...suggestions please Re: New Idea...suggestions please - People, it's easier than you think in some cases. Say you are replying to a question and you are about to refer to company ABC's website. Stop and explore their site for their affiliate program. If they have one, register and use your affiliate link in your post. If this takes time, you can post a regular link first, then come back and edit your reply by swapping for your affiliate link. If you post regularly, you'll soon have accounts at all the affiliate exchanges and you'll start getting money from your referrals. How about it?

Complacency and comfort can be death.
Re: Business Coaching Resources Re: Business Coaching Resources - You're fortunate when you can find a Business Coach who has experience beyond where you've been and even where you are going. When your budget is slim and even after, it's good to have a mentor. Several of various backgrounds are very useful. They can be teachers, professors, pastors, business people, family members, bosses and former bosses. You have to be clear on what you want and what you desire to achieve, be able to convey it as simply as possible. Stop and listen and don't over tax their time. You should always expect results whether from a Business Coach or Mentors. If you're not gtting results, you're either not focused or you need to upgrade the quality of your mentors/coaches. Always surround yourself by people smarter than you.
