Re: Take Some ACTION already! Re: Take Some ACTION already! - I think once you have an idea that is really solid, you need to run with it. All of your working hours should be concentrated on making it happen. Many people have great ideas but get distracted when the next great idea comes along. It's like they are opportunity hoppers. I guess they think that they'll make money quicker with this newer idea and they lose focus on what they were trying to originally build up. I hear stories like this a lot. Maybe it's entrepreneurial adult ADHD. Who knows. Don't lose confidence in an idea that you have researched and found as solid. Stick with it until you make it happen and don't get side-tracked by anything else, no matter how great it looks.
Re: Alexa Ranking Goals Re: Alexa Ranking Goals - Hi Evan, Thank you! I have been upgrading my websites to Wordpress and more actively adding content to them. The only exception is the one decliner, Japanese-Mahjong.com which I hope to upgrade and revive early next year... New Alexa ranking objectives: Japanese-Games-Shop: 350,000 Free-Wordpress-Websites: 120,000
Re: Re-Branding and Re-tooling Re: Re-Branding and Re-tooling - Dear coopadventures.com Sounds like you are on the right track. Websites and advertising go hand in hand. A great website can be built in 20 min. It can be like a great restaurant in the desert with no roads leading to it. A website must get traffic to turn a profit.
Re: Online Promo - or - Website and Blog Info Re: Online Promo - or - Website and Blog Info - [quote="litekepr":1hy6ywf3]A book which goes into [i:1hy6ywf3]design[/i:1hy6ywf3], [i:1hy6ywf3]content[/i:1hy6ywf3], [i:1hy6ywf3]optimization[/i:1hy6ywf3] and [i:1hy6ywf3]promotional information[/i:1hy6ywf3] about websites and [i:1hy6ywf3]blogs[/i:1hy6ywf3]. [/quote:1hy6ywf3] At this point in time I would be interested in this version and the italicised points are the subjects that won me over, especially the Blogs part since I have already read heaps of books on Websites and have never created a Blog.
Re: What exactly do you need to start a business Re: What exactly do you need to start a business - Hi phummy, I’m not sure what options you have in Nigeria or maybe you already know what you want to do but like any business, it’s all about supply and demand. Is there an interest in the product or service you are selling? Have you researched the market, perhaps approach other competitors to see what they have to offer, do you have any experience in the field. When you have researched your niche and decided what you want to do then it’s time for your business plan. Set your budget (very important) and stick to it, will you be working from home or an office and what equipment/stationary will you need. Manage your time effectively to concentrate on things that will push your business forward. Set realistic goal’s and stick to your plan. Coming to places like this forum are a godsend as you can save yourself time and grief by coming here and asking questions, good luck to you, Mal.
