Are You A Late Bloomer?

What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered? Ralph Waldo Emerson

Have you ever heard the phrase bloom where you are planted? Start where you are just like the small mustard seed that is planted yet will yield one of the largest plants in a garden. Whats cooking in your soul? Are there gifts, mysteries, careers, and stories that are untold? If only your truthfulness would unfold.

Do you sense that you have been a weed in your own garden that's planted inside your heart, mind, and soul? This is just the time for everything to be stirred and mixed up and unfolded into what you want it to be. It is your season now!

When you read that statement It is your season now, by the religious teachers, what comes to your mind? My dears, your virtues have not been discovered or uncovered yet. Do you think your seeds can be planted where you are right now - where you are in your life? Or do you try to dig up the dirt from the past and give it new life? Do you then try to re-plant dead seeds that cannot bloom? The reason why it cant bloom from the past is because the seeds are dead. They can only bloom when they are planted into the now. Your dreams, once activated by intention, desires, and faith, are the same way.

Preparing to Plant Seeds

Its been said, A farmer is the biggest risk-taker in the job market. They invest time, energy, money, and faith in their craft. Often they only see failure, but they start over, over and over again to see the plants grow and I love to watch farmers plants yield to a harvest from the seeds they plant.

Before farmers prepare the ground, they make a plan to act. Mentally, they see what is needed and make a list of what they should buy from a catalog or hardware store. Often this is done by measuring how much ground they have and how many seeds can be planted. This prep time is given careful consideration. A lot of planning time could also be called meditation, contemplation, and visualization. Seeds and fertilizers are ordered or bought for what is needed to support to the soils chemistry. The equipment to till the land and all that's needed for that is bought. The time is right, its two months later, and now its time to go to work and plant the seeds in faith. Do you guess that the farmer would plant seeds with the mental atmospheres of doubt, fear, and worry - like we do so often? And then we cant figure out what happened to our dreams. We wonder why did they die before the launch?

The ground is prepared and now its time to plant the seeds. The deeper you plant the seeds, the more the seed will yield. Roots, as you know, grow very deep and that's where all the nutrients are in the soil. Not at the top. When we plant our dreams, we should carry them deep inside our soul to where the root of Spirit can attach to them. When the dreams are left on the surface, the seeds within cannot root and wash away with the rains. Is this what you want?

Have you observed a farmer or a person who has fruit trees or vines? They are busy giving added vitamins and minerals to support the growth of their plants. After careful observation, they give a large amount of tender loving care daily. Most trees and vines aren't neglected by their owner. If the weather turns to a freeze, they have to cover the trees and vines when in bloom or they will lose the fruits. The trees or vines must be carefully taken care of, especially in their blooming season. As I am writing this message to you, the Biblical scripture John 1:1-2, rings clearly through my head: I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: every branch that bears fruit he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Let us stop here and ponder that timely scripture from Jesus, our way-shower.

Our dreams and hearts desires require the same attention and planning that a farmer gives the land when preparing the soil for planting. We, too, must follow certain steps in order to bring to pass our Divine destinies. In John 1:1, we read that The Father is the farmer. Since that is true, I believe we are just stewards over the land and our inner dreams. Are you a good Shepherd or Steward of the gifts God the Father has placed inside you to blossom and mind? What can you do better in your creation? For me, even though I write New Thought materials about life lessons learned, I, too, need to better implement my dreams and goals in order to go to the next level of my journey. What do you desire to implement for your goals and dreams? Don't you want to go the next level of your life? What is your soul yearning to do? Can you create a plan to act? My plan is to use my time more wisely and to put forth an increased effort for marketing myself and books. You can write your plan here if you print this or write in another form a journal.

Timing

Wait until the time is right. It is self-defeating to postpone or procrastinate; it is also self-defeating to act too soon, before the time is right.

Sometimes; we panic and take action out of fear. Sometimes, we take untimely action for revenge or because we want to punish someone. We act or speak too soon as a way to control or force someone to action. Sometimes, we take action too soon to relieve feelings of discomfort or anxiety about how a situation will turn out.

An action taken too soon can be as ineffective as one taken too late. It can backfire and cause more problems than it solves. Usually, when we wait until the time is right sometimes only a matter of minutes or hours the discomfort dissolves, and we are empowered to accomplish what we need to do.

In recovery, we are learning to be effective. Our answers will come. Our guidance will come. Pray. Trust. Wait. Let go. We are being led. We are being guided.

Meditation

Today, I will let go of my need to control by waiting until the time is right.

When the time is right, I will take action.

In season means at the right time, or proper time. May I ask if it is your right time to prepare or to commit to your souls purpose? Have you defined your souls purpose?

Out of season give interest or character to; make fit for use by a period of keeping or treatment. Many times you must wait out of season so to say, while God is allowing your character to build. This will make you fit for your season and grant you knowledge and insight into your missions.

Seasoning something that gives a better flavor or character. Have you notice that smoke meat tastes better than regular meats? The flavor is the result of an aging process. If you have been waiting like me to live our purpose for many years, your flavor is probably more developed in order to give to others and yourself.

Last seasons ticket a ticket or pass entitling the holder to certain privileges for the season or a period specified. Your sacred source has a pass entitling you to your privileges, to achieve your life's journey. Open your heart to receive the fit of service to mankind. Its your gift from source to have the right to be happy and to have the joy that comes with serving.
