Faith vs Fear

Faith is a Mental Attitude. Ernest Holmes

If, faith is a mental attitude described by The Science of Mind, (p.591, 1938), Ernest Holmes the founder of the Religious Science movement. Then my mind wonders to say What is fear? In The World Book Complete Word Power Library (p.254. 1984), the word fear is referred to as: fright, dread, terror, dismay, alarm, horror. Can you relate?

Hows Your Mental Attitude?

Then, my dears, hows your mental attitude on the views of your life, world and affairs? What do you think if what you will become for the best or the worst? I know too many folks who say that their body and soul is growing old. They really want you to feel sorry about their lot in life. Or they may just have a race conscious or suggestion a belief on life. Again, from The Science of Mind, (p. 624), about race conscious, Human beliefs operating through the mentality of the individual. The tendency to reproduce what the race has thought and experienced. Life is simply what you desire to make out it not what others have thought and believed. Today, when you woke up how did you plan your life? What did you want to see manifest in your day? Did you want prosperity, abundance, happiness, health and success in your life, world and affairs? Do not answer quickly, really think about the question, and think a new thought.

Faith is the opening of all sides and at every level of ones life to the Divine inflow. Reverend Martin Luther King. Jr., (1929-1968).

Are You Putting off Your Divine Mission?

Often we show a lack of faith and trust in God and ourselves. Distraction and doubt may lead to procrastination, putting off our Divine Mission. Put a plan in place to counteract the distractions and disturbances that ultimately arise from family members, close friends or tasks that seem to be calling your name. I know my destiny is to write books but I have been tested in the past by friends who want to go out dancing past midnight. I love to dance. However, if I go, I have to forfeit begin able to get up at six o'clock in the morning to start my spiritual practice and going to the gym, which prepares me to write. Can you identify what you need to do to become focused on creating your destiny? When you know what is on your agenda before hand, you will know how to handle any distractions as they come up. Keep a journal of the events that have kept you from creating. This will enable you to create strategies to overcome them. Become your own inner coach.

Skepticism about writing, creating, teaching, speaking, changing, or stepping forward into your destiny may be holding you back. Are you plagued with self-doubts about attaining success? Understand that you are a channel that the Universal God works through.

Examine These Questions Within Your Soul

Before ending out time can you ponder these questions?

Do you know what your Divine Mission is?

Have you asked Spirit, or have you been asking someone else?

Are you confident in your own abilities?

Have you aborted your dreams?

Many people fail to achieve their dreams because they do not claim what is rightfully theirs to do in life. By listening to others instead of depending on Spirit or their Higher Power, their plans are often aborted. Sometimes our lives become so enmeshed with others that our focus is diverted towards the other persons mission instead of our own. When this happens, we often fail to recognize our own path or destiny.

Intentions are like crying children. They should be carried out. Brigham Young (1801-1877)

Hearing the Call

When I heard and felt the call to step into my destiny, I chose to make conscious movements toward my goals. I received the required wisdom through my spiritual practice. The confirmation from Spirit came from within me. We receive knowledge from our efforts to learn. However, wisdom is a gift from God. If you put the two together, you receive inspiration. Again, I had to create a plan of action with a willing heart to prepare for my next intentional step towards my destiny my quest in life. Synonyms for intention are: purpose, goal, aim, intent, object, meaning, and plan.

Now, can you take a leap of Faith and step into your Divine Missions? I have a book that has information on Faith and how to use it. Its in the book, Poise for the Runway of Your Life, (2009).

Re: Success Re: Success - I study success intently, and would like to share: Here's two excellent and nearly identical success-formulas from a couple of the world's masters. FIRST FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Clear, Definite Purpose 3. Committed Decision 4. Take Action In Faith (Bonus Secret Sauce: 5. Repeat Consistently) I made a video about this, but am not allowed to link it yet. Google "Ryze Success Steps" for it. Oh, and this is Napoleon Hill's (Master Of Success Laws)'s Formula. SECOND FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Understand It Is Already Done (Faith) 3. Relax & Allow It To Unfold (Go about your life calmly) This one is courtesy of Abraham-Hicks (inspiration for the movie The Secret). Hope that helps!
Re: Fear of Success Re: Fear of Success - You don't need to fear success. We should embrace it. Fear is define by a man of God as False Evidence Appearing Real. the meaning is what we fear most does'nt come to pass

Yes, let's all do our share to reduce our impact on the global warming issues, yet at the same time we need to hear both sides of the story... then make educated decisions.[/quote:1kwhwvtt] Hi Russell, But don't you think society would fall apart without "fear" acting as a control? Fear is what keeps people in check (e.g. if you commit a crime you go to jail or even get shot by the authorities in some countries).
